Police in Scotland have confirmed the arrest of a 14-year-old girl after an incident in Dundee on Saturday involving two young sisters and a group of adult men.
The confrontation, which was captured on video and widely shared on social media, has drawn significant attention in the United Kingdom.
The video, filmed on Coupar Angus Road in Dundee, shows two girls — ages 12 and 14 — visibly distressed while surrounded by adult men who remain off camera.

The incident quickly sparked debate online, with many noting the absence of adult bystanders intervening to assist the girls.
Critics have highlighted the arrest of the teenager while the adult men involved have not been charged.

In several previous cases across Britain, community members have raised concerns that police failed to protect minors from predatory groups due to fears of being accused of bias.
The footage from Saturday has also fueled debate over how minors respond to threats when they feel unprotected.
Advocacy groups have argued that the case underscores the need for both stronger safeguards for children and clearer guidance on how law enforcement addresses public safety concerns without criminalizing minors acting in distress.
