The Tennessee Titans have not officially unveiled a new logo, but the internet may have already done it for them.
A product listing on Fanatics briefly showed what multiple outlets and design trackers identified as the Titans’ updated logo for 2026, and the image spread fast before the listing was removed. The item was a “player pal” plush football, and the logo visible on it appeared to be a redesigned version of Tennessee’s current roundel mark.
The leaked design keeps the central “T” and the three stars tied to the Tennessee state flag, but it appears to strip away some of the sharper details and the flame styling that have defined the current Titans logo since the franchise adopted the name in 1999. The version shown on the plush also uses a lighter blue and red color palette, which aligns with the franchise’s long running connection to its Houston Oilers roots.

The timing of the leak matters because the Titans are already widely expected to roll out a broader uniform redesign in 2026. SportsLogos.Net reported that the logo is not expected to be officially revealed until the team unveils new uniforms in April, and said multiple sources confirmed the Fanatics listing showed the new mark. The Fanatics product page referenced in that report was later removed.
If the leaked logo is the real one, it would replace a design that has been in place since the Titans launched their current identity in 1999. That logo leaned heavily into the franchise’s Greek mythology direction, including the fireball style flames trailing the roundel. It has appeared on both white and navy helmets over the years, including the navy helmet era that ran through last season.
The possible redesign also fits a larger shift the organization has already made in how it presents the team on the field.
In March 2025, Titans president and CEO Burke Nihill announced the team would make “Titans blue” the primary home jersey color, emphasizing a lighter blue look tied to the franchise’s history. At the time, Nihill said, “We’re talking to fans and we’re listening, and there’s a clear appetite to have the Titans, their team, represented on the field in this noticeable color that has been with this team from 1960 in Houston, into Memphis, at Vanderbilt and as we’ve played at Nissan Stadium.” He also said, “We’re going to emphasize that this year and change to Titans blue as the primary color. As we sit here today, the plan is to wear Titans blue at every one of our home games this year.”

Nihill also added, “Our fans, our players, they love it. The Titans blue has always been a part of this organization, and there is something that is uniquely this organization when that color is the dominant color. You see it, and you know the team that is being represented – it’s the Titans.”
That color decision came with another signal: Tennessee did not wear its Oilers throwback uniforms in 2025, even after the throwbacks drew strong reactions in prior seasons. SportsLogos.Net noted that the positive response to the Oilers inspired palette, plus the ongoing debate with Houston over the old Oilers identity, made a lighter blue centered redesign a logical path for the franchise. The site also cited Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon’s earlier comments that new uniforms were in the works and would be “very similar,” adding to the expectation that the Titans were heading toward a more Oilers adjacent look.
The Titans have not publicly confirmed the leaked logo. NBC Sports reported the team “had no comment” when asked about the image. That leaves the current situation where most of the football world has seen a possible new logo, but the franchise has not put its name on it yet.
There is also a broader business backdrop here. Tennessee is due to open a new stadium in 2027, and teams often use that kind of timeline to refresh branding, uniforms, and merchandising. NBC Sports pointed to the upcoming stadium opening as part of the context around the leak and the rebrand speculation.
So for now, the facts are simple. A Fanatics listing briefly displayed a Titans themed plush with a new looking logo, the listing was removed, the design spread online, and the Titans declined comment. The official reveal, if this is indeed the new mark, is still expected with the 2026 uniform rollout.
Until then, the plush football may have beaten the press conference.
