Vice President Kamala Harris falsely claimed during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that there were no laws that allowed the government to control a man’s body.
While discussing abortion laws, podcast host Alex Cooper asked Harris if she could name any law that allowed the government to control a man’s body, to which the presidential nominee said, “No.” Harris, of course, is dead wrong. (Click HERE to sign up for Mr. Right’s weekly newsletter)
Kamala Harris and the Call Her Daddy chick attempt to come up with any governmental law that controls a man’s body. Both say there isn’t one. Then laugh. The correct answer is, yes, the draft. Which has cost over a million male lives in US history. pic.twitter.com/Q92XeEHn3I

The Draft
The most notable example of the U.S. government controlling a man’s body is the draft, which gave the government the right to send men to war and possibly die, or imprison them should they refuse to comply. Signed into law by President Woodrow Wilson on May 18, 1917, the Selective Service Act required men between the ages of 21 and 45 to register for military service. The current Selective Service System requires that all men between the ages of 18 and 25 register for potential conscription, even though the military is currently an all-volunteer force.
The last time the government drafted American men was in 1973, during the Vietnam War. Regarding laws that control a man’s body, Harris should look no further than the thousands of living Vietnam vets whose lives were changed forever by the power of the federal government. Not to mention, the millions of men drafted during WWI, WWII and the Korean War, who made the ultimate sacrifice so that she could appear on a sex podcast and spread misinformation. Vaccines
In addition to the draft, the U.S. government has long mandated vaccines for service members. During the Revolutionary War, then-General George Washington ordered a mass inoculation of the Continental Army to mitigate deaths from smallpox. Currently, the Department of Defense (DOD) mandates 17 different vaccines that are administered to service members before they enter basic training. Before rescinding the order that mandated COVID-19 vaccines, the DOD discharged over 8,000 service members who refused the vaccine and left thousands more in limbo after they requested religious exemptions.
Death Penalty
Capital punishment is legal in 27 states. The federal government also has the power to carry out executions for federal crimes, and it is also a legal punishment for certain military offenses. Executions in America can be traced back to the very founding of the country, and even before then, at the Jamestown Colony in 1608, when Captain George Kendall was executed by firing squad after spying for the Spanish government. Although the 8th Amendment prohibits cruel and unusual punishment, the 5th Amendment contains language implying that death may be a penalty for a “a capital, or otherwise infamous crime,” so long as there is a grand jury indictment of the individual and due process.
It’s hard to expect much from Harris in the way of truth and honesty. But if she wants to be president, she should correct the record on this “Call Her Daddy” snippet, and in general on abortion and bodily autonomy, arguably the most divisive issue in American politics today. She is doing young voters, women especially, no favors when she spreads lies about these laws and constantly enables a victim mentality.
