The Hoax Hits Keep on Coming

Yesterday’s hoax of the day was “Elon Musk is a Nazi,” and has finally revealed that fact to the world. 

The hoax was absurd but in today’s world of Narratives™, truth or falsity, or even plausibility, are completely beside the point. All that matters is that the left can adopt what my friend Mitch Berg calls “chanting points.” The Pravda Media, the Democrats, and the entire left-wing apparatus swing into motion to chant the same thing over and over again until whatever they claim is accepted as gospel by people who don’t have the time or inclination to fact check the “fact checkers.”

Raising your arm is a Nazi salute if the left says so, and a gesture of passion if they don’t. That Elon Musk visited Auschwitz with Rabbis, wears a necklace every day in honor of the Israeli hostages, and is one of the most philosemitic people on Earth is irrelevant. He lifted his arm. 

Elon Musk just last year traveled with Ben Shapiro to Auschwitz and then Israel to learn about the Holocaust and Jewish history.

It’s hoax after hoax after hoax, spread by CNN, PBS, Democrats, social media influencers, and all the worst people.

The new hoax is aimed at Pete Hegseth, who was all set to be confirmed as Secretary of Defense after the first round of slander from all the usual suspects. 

Now that confirmation is set to be derailed, at least temporarily, by an accusation from a third party that Pete Hegseth was physically threatening to his ex-wife. 

JUST IN: Pete Hegseth accused of making his second wife “fear for her safety” in new affidavit, allegations immediately get shot down by his second wife.

Mind you, this accusation is not being made by his ex-wife. She in fact denies that it is true. 

But, as I said, the truth or falsity of the accusation is entirely beside the point. Having an accusation and repeating it ad nauseam is. As long as you can repeat it enough, it becomes an established fact in some people’s minds.

The accusation came hours after Hegseth’s nomination was sent to the floor–an important fact in itself because the hearings have been held, the original vote was taken, and the accusation can hang out there to marinate. The Pravda Media can spew lies endlessly to shape the narrative, and when Hegseth speaks on it he will be hounded and treated as guilty. 

This is straight out of the well-worn Democrat playbook. They do this regularly, and the media colludes with them to do it. It is what they did to Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, Bob Bork, and so on… 

NBC propagandist Julie Tsirkin wrote a debunked hit piece alleging that Pete Hegseth’s former wife “feared for her life.”

This lie was debunked by Hegseth’s former wife, however, Tsirkin is refusing to report that on air.

Millions of Americans take these hit jobs at face value because they cannot conceive of the idea that conspiracies between the Democrats and the media to smear people exist. Even when they realize the media lies on one thing, they haven’t made the connection that they lie on anything they feel like. 

This is how con men get away with their cons. It is why Bernie Madoff got away with his scam for so long.
