Tesla CEO Elon Musk issued a warning to Senate Republicans, stating that opposing President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda and the will of the people would lead to them losing either their primary election or the mid-term elections.

Musk’s comments come amid growing tensions within the GOP over Trump’s Cabinet nominations.

Recent weeks have seen resistance from some Republican Senators who are refusing to support Trump’s Cabinet nominees.

Last week, five Republican Senators forced Matt Gaetz to withdraw his nomination for Attorney General after they announced they would not vote in his favor.

This refusal from establishment Republicans highlights the ongoing divisions within the party, as some lawmakers continue to oppose Trump’s agenda.

John Bolton, former National Security Advisor under Trump, was one of the prominent voices criticizing Gaetz’s nomination.

Bolton referred to Gaetz as “the worst cabinet pick in history” and argued that “these nominations are reckless and should be opposed at all costs.”

Despite these criticisms, Trump’s nominations are seen by many as aligning with his “America First” agenda.

Supporters believe that the nominees will help carry out Trump’s vision for the country, and the opposition from establishment figures is shedding light on those who are considered to be working against the will of the voters.

Musk, who has become an influential voice in conservative circles, warned that Senate Republicans who continue to defy Trump’s agenda would face consequences in the next election cycle.

His warning was delivered after a post from “Insurrection Barbie,” a social media personality who criticized Senate Republicans for their failure to support Trump’s post-election agenda.

The tweet pointed out that, despite Trump’s sweeping electoral victories, several Republican Senators made key leadership decisions that many Trump supporters view as acts of betrayal.

The tweet highlighted several key points: Senate Republicans elected Sen. John Thune as Majority Leader, despite his known opposition to Trump; they put Mitch McConnell in charge of important committees like the Rules and Defense Spending Committees; and they made Sen.Susan Collins head of the Appropriations Committee, despite her consistent record of voting against Trump. “That is called saying F you to their voters.”

The message was clear: these leadership choices by Senate Republicans are seen as efforts to obstruct Trump’s second term agenda, particularly in the areas of defense spending, rules, and appropriations.

These committees are seen as crucial for controlling the direction of Trump’s policies, and by putting anti-Trump figures in charge, many feel that the establishment Republicans are undermining the President-elect’s agenda.

Trump himself has made it clear that his Cabinet choices reflect his commitment to his policies, with a focus on national security and counterintelligence reform.

Tulsi Gabbard, the incoming Director of National Intelligence, has pledged to prioritize these issues as part of her work in the new administration.

Despite the internal party struggles, the majority of Americans remain supportive of Trump’s agenda.

According to a new Pew Research survey, 53 percent of Americans either “somewhat” or “strongly” approve of Trump’s plans for his second term.

The survey found strong support for his approach to the economy, foreign policy, immigration, and criminal justice, though opinions on his stance regarding abortion were less favorable.

As Trump prepares to take office, the battle within the GOP appears to be intensifying.

Musk’s warning and the backlash from Trump’s supporters highlight the growing dissatisfaction with RINOs who are perceived as obstructing the President-elect’s agenda.

The coming months will likely determine whether these divisions within the Republican Party will have lasting consequences in the next round of elections.
