In a recent segment, commentator Tim Pool defended Tommy Robinson, pushing back against media figures like Piers Morgan who have dismissed Robinson as a “con artist.”
Pool highlighted Robinson’s role in exposing the systemic exploitation of children in the UK, questioning why Robinson was targeted and silenced while others, including the government and police, appeared inactive on the issue.
Pool did not shy away from expressing his anger at the horrific details of the abuse and the lack of accountability among those in power.

He acknowledged his personal dislike for Robinson but credited him with bringing these atrocities to light.
“So it comes back to this,” Pool said. “If Piers or anybody else wants to insult Tommy, my response is, so what? I don’t know. I don’t care. Explain to me why the one guy that was leading rallies to call out the systemic rape of children was getting locked up and silenced and put in jail. Why weren’t you doing it? Why wasn’t the UK Government doing it? Why weren’t the cops doing it? Why was it Tommy Robinson?”
Responding to criticisms of Robinson’s character, Pool dismissed the labels used against him, instead emphasizing the significance of the information Robinson exposed.
“Oh, he’s a con artist. Well, whoop-de-freaking-do. At least we had one con artist, according to you, willing to speak up and inform someone like me,” Pool stated.
While Pool expressed respect for Morgan, he suggested that Morgan’s dismissal of Robinson might stem from a lack of understanding or intentional misrepresentation.
“I like Piers. I really do. I’ve been on [his] show several times. I look forward to going on again. And maybe he just doesn’t understand. Maybe he’s wrong, maybe it’s intentional, I don’t know, but don’t you get it? This is why I don’t believe you,” Pool said.
The core of Pool’s frustration appeared to stem from the severity of the crimes Robinson brought to light and the lack of action from those in authority.
“The things they were doing to these children. Man, these transcripts that came out, they fill me with a rage. I have never experienced [anything like this]. The horrors. Man, there’s so much dirty stuff in this world, and you say Tommy’s a con artist. Fine, whatever. At least I can thank the con artist for letting me know, because I would not have known about this if it were not for him.”

Pool’s defense of Robinson underscores a broader frustration with the handling of systemic abuse cases in the UK. While Robinson’s methods and character remain divisive, Pool argued that his efforts were instrumental in exposing crimes that others failed to address.
The segment called into question why more prominent figures, including government officials and law enforcement, did not take the lead in addressing these atrocities.
