Tom Homan Drops the Mic on AOC’s ‘Yelling and Screaming’ About ICE Threats [WATCH]

Border Czar Tom Homan responded sharply to threats made by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) following the arrest of individuals involved in a protest outside a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Newark, New Jersey.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, several House Democrats were present during a recent confrontation at the Newark ICE facility, where federal agents were reportedly assaulted during an attempt to maintain order.

In response, Ocasio-Cortez warned DHS officials, naming both Homan and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, stating that if either of them “laid a finger on” the lawmakers involved, there would be a “problem.”

Fox News asked Homan about the remarks. Laughing, he responded sarcastically, saying he was “extremely intimidated.”

He echoed the same sentiment during a follow-up interview with Greta Van Susteren on Newsmax, saying Ocasio-Cortez was “full of sh—,” before cutting himself off.

“She’s been yelling and screaming for the last four years,” Homan said.

“No one is above the law, including members of Congress.”

Homan stated that if laws were violated at the Newark ICE facility, prosecutions would be pursued.

“When you cross that line, we will ask the Attorney General to prosecute, and that’s what we’re doing,” he said.

Homan confirmed that DHS is currently reviewing a significant amount of video footage and gathering statements from witnesses.

The decision on any charges will be made by Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba.

Homan criticized what he called double standards from members of Congress. “They scream about due process,” he said.

“The facility in Newark provided them due process, but they want it shut down. That’s not how this works.”

He went on to describe the Democrats’ behavior as “unprofessional” and said it undermined the legal process.

Homan also criticized Ocasio-Cortez personally, saying, “I wish she’d do her job. She’s a legislator, right? Why doesn’t she pass some legislation… and actually improve this country like President Donald Trump is already doing?”

“We’re doing our job: the border is secure. We arrested three times more criminals than Biden did. She should try doing her job,” Homan added.

Homan also expressed support for disciplinary action against the lawmakers involved in the Newark incident.

He said the House should consider censure or removal of committee assignments. Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) has introduced a resolution to strip those Democrats of their committee roles.

Homan delivered additional comments during a CNN interview, saying that the Trump administration has done more to improve public safety in Ocasio-Cortez’s district than she has.

“The number of criminal aliens we took off the streets in New York made her community much safer,” Homan said.

“She ought to love her community more than she hates Trump,” he concluded.

“That’s the problem. She doesn’t.”

The incident in Newark and the responses from both lawmakers and federal officials remain under review. DHS has not released the full list of individuals under investigation in connection with the protest.
