A Colorado Tesla dealership became the target of a violent and unhinged protest after a 40-year-old suspect, who formerly identified as a man, allegedly hurled Molotov cocktails at vehicles and defaced the property with anti-Tesla graffiti.
As reported by The New York Post, Authorities in Loveland, Colorado, arrested “Lucy Grace” Nelson late Monday night after he allegedly returned to the dealership armed with more explosive devices and vandalism supplies.

Elon Musk Called This Financial News ‘Terrifying’
Nelson, who had previously gone by the name Justin Thomas Nelson, was booked on multiple felony charges, including the use of an explosive device and attempted criminal mischief.
According to the Loveland Police Department, Nelson’s rampage involved throwing incendiary devices at four Tesla vehicles valued at approximately $220,000.
Investigators reported that the makeshift explosives were constructed from empty liquor bottles, a crude but dangerous weapon of choice.

Authorities suspect Nelson was targeting Tesla in protest of CEO Elon Musk, whose unapologetic stance on free speech and refusal to cave to leftist pressure campaigns has made him a primary target for radicals.
Chris Padgett, a Loveland Police Department spokesperson, told reporters that while the motive remains under investigation, it’s “reasonable” to assume the attacks were politically motivated.
This was not the first incident at the Loveland Tesla dealership. According to police, this same location had been vandalized and attacked with explosives on at least three prior occasions since January.
Officers believe Nelson may not have acted alone and are investigating potential accomplices. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has been called in, with federal charges likely on the horizon.
Following his arrest, Nelson was held on a $100,000 cash bond but managed to post bail and was released on Tuesday. The fact that someone accused of such dangerous acts could so quickly return to the streets raises serious concerns about the left’s soft-on-crime policies.
The attack comes amid a broader movement against Tesla, with radical activists targeting dealerships and individual car owners simply for driving a vehicle associated with Musk.
The so-called #TeslaTakedown movement, spearheaded by “Bill & Ted” actor Alex Winter, encourages investors to dump Tesla stock and calls on consumers to boycott the brand.
Winter has openly boasted about orchestrating protests at more than 100 Tesla locations, fueling the kind of radical rhetoric that inevitably leads to real-world violence.
While leftists scream about “threats to democracy,” they seem to have no issue resorting to actual terrorism when their political enemies refuse to submit.
This latest attack is yet another reminder of the dangers posed by unhinged activists who, when emboldened by a media and political class that refuses to condemn them, will stop at nothing to silence those they despise.
