Travis Kelce Compares His Relationship With Taylor Swift to ‘Pretty Woman’ in Podcast Laugh [WATCH]

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce compared his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift to the 1990 romantic comedy Pretty Woman during the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, retired NFL center Jason Kelce, as reported by Page Six.

While watching the film on Wednesday’s episode, the 35-year-old Super Bowl champion joked about identifying with Julia Roberts’ character, Vivian Ward, a Hollywood escort who falls in love with a wealthy businessman.

“I’m just an NFL stripper, that’s it,” Travis said. “I’m just an NFL hooker, man.”

The comment came as the brothers discussed flipping the plot of the original film into a new version titled Pretty Man.

Travis described his hypothetical spin-off idea as a role reversal, suggesting a story where a high-powered female CEO falls for a male companion who doesn’t quite fit into her world.

“We need to make Pretty Man, and we need to have a CEO billionaire woman be so high class that she doesn’t know where she’s going, she doesn’t know how to drive a car,” he said.

Jason, 37, responded by connecting the idea to Travis’ current personal life.

“You’re living Pretty Woman right now [dating Taylor Swift]. You are Pretty Man. You’re living your own Julia Roberts’ [moment].”

Travis laughed before referencing a famous scene from the movie. “I’m wearing nothing but a tie when Taylor comes home,” he said, prompting more laughter from both brothers.

Kelce also referenced meeting actress Julia Roberts in July 2024 during Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Ireland. “That was pretty cool,” Travis recalled, calling the Oscar winner “awesome” and saying she was “having some fun” at the show.

The interaction between Roberts and Kelce went viral after she was seen rubbing his shoulder and tickling his chest during their brief exchange.

Roberts, a longtime Swift fan, previously appeared onstage with the singer during a 2015 performance. Swift’s relationship with Kelce began in 2023 and has been a recurring subject on the “New Heights” podcast.

Travis briefly joined Swift on stage during her June 2024 concert in London, which drew commentary from Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield during Wednesday’s episode. “Travis has more practice with choreographers and T. Swift,” Mayfield, 30, joked.

Jason also recalled meeting Swift in January 2024, describing it as “a really fun day.”
