A high-stakes raid conducted early Tuesday morning in the Bronx resulted in the arrest of Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, a 25-year-old leader of the notorious Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua.
As reported by The Gateway Pundit, the operation, executed by heavily armed agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the NYPD Special Operations unit, marked a significant blow to one of the most dangerous criminal organizations operating in the United States.

Zambrano-Pacheco was cornered in an Ogden Avenue apartment during the raid. According to the New York Post, he faces a laundry list of charges, including kidnapping, burglary, and menacing, stemming from a brazen incident in Aurora, Colorado, last August.
Surveillance footage captured Zambrano-Pacheco and several armed accomplices forcing their way into an apartment, terrorizing residents and showcasing the gang’s violent grip on local communities.

Neighbors at the Bronx apartment recounted the tense raid. Officers reportedly used a crowbar to breach the door before dragging Zambrano-Pacheco out in shackles.
A neighbor stated:
“When they brought him out, he had shackles on his wrists to his feet. His face had a real angry expression. It was strange.”
Residents of the building described Zambrano-Pacheco as a recent arrival, with some recalling a woman and children also living in the raided apartment. Emanuel Joseph, a neighbor across the hall, stated, “They moved in September or October of this past year. They were very cooperative, very friendly.”
The Tren de Aragua gang’s violent activities extend beyond New York. In Aurora, Colorado, their takeover of local apartment complexes has escalated tensions in the community.
A chilling video released last August by Fox 31 Denver exposed armed gang members invading apartments, striking fear into residents.
Aurora Councilmember Danielle Jurinsky has been a vocal critic of the unchecked violence. “And I repeat… A GANG HAS TAKEN OVER several apartment complexes in Aurora!” she warned on X (formerly Twitter), emphasizing the severity of the situation.

However, media outlets like NBC News have attempted to downplay these claims, dismissing them as “misinformation.”
Roberta Braga of the Digital Democracy Institute of the Americas, a nonprofit studying the impact of misinformation, accused the reports of fueling a “broader narrative meant to demonize immigrants.”
NBC also claimed that many residents in the Aurora complexes, who are immigrants from Venezuela and other Latin American countries, felt unfairly criminalized.
While the left-wing media rushes to shield these gangs under the guise of combating “misinformation,” everyday Americans are left grappling with the terrifying reality of gang violence.
Zambrano-Pacheco’s arrest marks a crucial step in dismantling the Tren de Aragua’s network, but it’s far from the end. Communities in cities like Aurora remain under siege, highlighting the urgent need for stronger immigration enforcement and tougher action against these criminal organizations.
