X Strategies CEO Alex Bruesewitz called out Daily Mail reporter Charlie Spiering on Wednesday, accusing him of taking a video out of context to claim paparazzi caught Bruesewitz and rapper Nicki Minaj holding hands while walking to the United Nations (U.N.).

The 19-second clip posted on X by Spiering purportedly shows Minaj and Brusewitz holding hands while walking behind Fox News host Harris Faulkner as they crossed the street while on a visit to the U.N. for a religious freedom forum on Tuesday, moderated by Faulkner. Bruesewitz, an adviser to Trump, posted a 49-second video on X that showed her using him for support during a portion of the walk while in high heels and letting go once she was stable. “This is completely fake news. Please share the full clip for context, I was simply assisting @NICKIMINAJ in crossing the road because she was wearing heels that didn’t seem easy to walk in,” Bruesewitz posted. “We weren’t ‘holding hands’ at all. She’s married, and I’m engaged! SMH.”

A two-minute, twenty-second video posted by The Hollywood Fix on YouTube and X appears to back up Bruesewitz’s assertion. The video also shows Faulkner, who also wore high heels, appearing to briefly hold onto Bruesewitz’s arm while crossing a different sidewalk. Later in the video, Minaj appeared to steady herself on Waltz while climbing stairs to enter the U.N. headquarters.

Minaj joined Ambassador to the U.N. Michael Waltz on Tuesday to address a religious freedom event at its headquarters. Minaj previously had praised President Donald Trump’s decision to declare Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern” regarding religious freedom due to attacks on Christians by the radical Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram.

“Reading this made me feel a deep sense of gratitude. We live in a country where we can freely worship God,” Minaj, who has 26.9 million followers on X, posted. “No group should ever be persecuted for practicing their religion. We don’t have to share the same beliefs in order for us to respect each other.”

Waltz told Faulkner during a Tuesday appearance on “The Faulkner Focus” from the UN headquarters that Bruesewitz had invited Minaj to the forum.

“It was her responding to President Trump,” Waltz told Faulkner. “What an unlikely duo, but what an amazing duo. She’s one of the most followed people in the world and of course, he is the most famous world leader in the world and it was actually our good friend Alex Bruesewitz, who said why don’t you invite her over, and to our astonishment, she accepted. I have to tell you, my daughter now thinks what we are doing here is cool for the first time. But importantly, she is reaching a whole other swath of people who may not follow these issues.”

At least 200 Christians were killed in one attack by Boko Haram in June, with the radical Islamic terrorist group burning some of them alive. Erik Prince, best known as a former head of Blackwater, urged Pope Leo XIV to fund mercenaries to protect Christians in Nigeria from the terrorist group in October.
