Alex Bruesewitz, a campaign adviser to Donald Trump, collapsed on stage during a gala hosted by the New York Young Republican Club on Sunday night, alarming the hundreds of attendees gathered at the Manhattan event.
Please pray for my man @alexbruesewitz and his health tonight.
He’s one of the best advisors President Trump has ever had, and played a HUGE role in last month’s landslide victory.
America needs him.

Video footage captured the moment Bruesewitz, who was introducing incoming White House senior aide Dan Scavino, began slurring his words before fainting and taking the lectern down with him.
The black-tie gala, held at Cipriani Wall Street, was attended by prominent conservative figures, including former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, senior Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski, and former British politician Nigel Farage.
Bruesewitz was reportedly in the middle of praising the New York Young Republican Club for their strong support of Donald Trump when the incident occurred.
Attendees rushed to Bruesewitz’s aid after his collapse.

Raheem Kassam, a former aide to Farage and master of ceremonies for the evening, addressed the audience shortly afterward to reassure them about Bruesewitz’s condition.
“I talked to our friend Alex Bruesewitz and you know what he said to me? He goes, ‘Did I at least look cool?’” Kassam recounted to the crowd. “I said, Alex, you used gravity like I’ve seen nobody use gravity before in their lives.”

His firm focuses on promoting candidates aligned with former President Donald Trump’s policies and values.
According to his company’s website, Bruesewitz works to replace establishment Republicans with candidates who strongly support Trump and his agenda.
President-elect Donald Trump himself called into the event shortly after the incident to extend his support to Bruesewitz. “I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun,” Trump said over the phone. “There’s no doubt about that. So I want to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special guy.”

Before his collapse, Bruesewitz had highlighted several notable Trump supporters in the room, including former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz, and emphasized the importance of the New York Young Republican Club’s unwavering commitment to Trump as both the 45th and potentially 47th president of the United States.
The evening featured speeches from other high-profile conservatives.
In addition to Scavino, who Bruesewitz was introducing at the time of the incident, speakers included Farage and Lewandowski.
Despite the alarming episode, the event continued, with Kassam ensuring the audience that Bruesewitz was recovering backstage.
The cause of Bruesewitz’s collapse has not been disclosed, and no further updates on his condition have been provided as of Monday.
Attendees at the event expressed relief at the assurances given during the gala and praised Bruesewitz’s resilience.
