Trump and Elon Want to Take Money From Babies and Grade Schoolers!

Let’s face it–Donald Trump and Elon Musk are mean, nasty, ugly, and selfish. 

I have long refused to face this fact, but now that I have seen with my own eyes their mean-spirited attack on providing government subsidies to children in need of a few dollars to tide them over, I must face reality. 

DOGE found $330 million in SBA loans to children under 11 years old with the youngest being a 9-month-old baby who received a $100,000 loan.

Who doesn’t think a 9-month-old infant could benefit from $100,000 deposited in their bank account? Joe Biden tried mightily to pay back student loans for people whose gender studies degree focused on the proper use of dildos in sadomasochistic queer displays for children won’t help them pay the bills for their Door-Dash ordered avocado toast, but he couldn’t get Congress and the courts to let him. 

Give a baby $100,000 to invest, and it could probably help pay a portion of the $350,000 a semester fees colleges will be charging when they go to college. 

PPP loans were to help businesses get through the COVID shutdowns, and while the lion’s share went to major corporations and overseas scammers, a few dollars also went to Democratic Party donors, a few actual businesses, and…children too. Not to mention dead people. Dead people need some love too, or else their businesses might fail.

$312M IN COVID LOANS GIVEN TO KIDS, DEAD PEOPLE DOGE says 5,600 COVID loans went to businesses run by kids age 11 or younger — totaling $312M.Some loans were tied to fake or mismatched Social Security numbers.Another $333M went to people listed as 115 to 157 years old — still marked as alive in U.S. records.Trump told Congress that millions of Social Security files list people as old as 360.

At least some of it went to good use. I would hate to think that the only thing the PPP program did was fuel inflation and enrich the already wealthy. 

I cannot fathom why Trump and Musk would find this kind of spending appalling. Think of the children! 

No doubt soon, when billions or hundreds of billions in Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security fraud are uncovered, the Democrats will start screaming that cutting out the fraud is “cutting Social Security” and “depriving medical care” to corpses. Ironically enough, when the Medicare fraud gets rooted out, medical care for anybody won’t be cut–the fraudsters are the providers who bill for services never performed or overcharge for goods and services–but niceties like the truth don’t matter a bit. 

Fraud is the financial base of the Democratic Party and its donors, so the cuts will indeed hurt. Just not hurt the people who are supposed to be benefiting from the programs. 

Democrats point to spending totals as proof that they are doing good things and decry every cut in outlay as an attack on the program. 

They cut Medicare! No, we found a doctor claiming to see 400 patients a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and we are stopping the fraud. 

Who do you think the center-left folks will believe? 

This is why Democrats still win elections despite their manifest failures. The count of people to listen to what they say, not watch what they do.
