Speaking to reporters on Monday, President Trump didn’t just endorse the relationship—he praised both individuals involved. “Well, I love Tiger and I love Vanessa,” he began, clearly comfortable with the match.

But he didn’t stop there. The 45th—and once again, current—President dove deeper into the past, expressing regret over what he believes disrupted the original Trump family dynamic.

“They had a great relationship,” he said, referring to Vanessa’s 13-year marriage to Donald Trump Jr. “I happen to think their relationship… was hurt very badly by the witch hunt that went on. Russia, Russia, Russia, and all the crap they put Don through, who knew nothing about it.”

Rather than wallow in the past, Trump quickly pivoted to support the future. He shared that Tiger Woods personally informed him of the new relationship weeks ago. His response? “It was good.”

“I’m very happy for both. Let them both be happy. They’re both great,” Trump added, sounding more like a protective father than a political figure.
