President Donald Trump addressed the liberal online freak out that he was “dead” after he did not do any press conferences for reporters for several days.

Fox News Chief White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked Trump on Tuesday if he had seen the online rumors, mainly spread by liberal X accounts, that he had died. The rumors began because the president did not make any public appearances for several days after his marathon cabinet meeting. The president sat down for an hour-long interview with the Daily Caller in the Oval Office on Friday. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Trump Unveils New Troll Of Joe Biden’s Autopen In Oval Office)

“How did you find out over the weekend that you were dead?” Doocy asked the president about the viral social media trend.

“One point three million user engagement as of Saturday morning about your demise,” Doocy followed up after the president said he had not heard about the rumors.

“Yeah, I have heard. It’s sort of crazy, last week I did numerous news conferences all successful. They went very well like this is going very well and then I didn’t do any for two days and they said there must be something wrong with him. Biden wouldn’t do then for months, you wouldn’t see him, and nobody ever said that was ever anything wrong with him and the we know he wasn’t in the greatest of shape,” Trump told Doocy.

“Now I get reports. You know I did an interview that lasted for about an hour and a half with somebody and everybody saw that, that was on with one of your competitors,” Trump said of his interview with the Caller’s White House Correspondent Reagan Reese. “I did numerous shows and also did a number of Truths, long Truths. I think pretty poignant Truths. No, I was very active over the weekend.” (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Full Transcript: Daily Caller Interviews President Donald Trump)

Rumors of Trump’s death began to go viral Saturday morning as users pointed out that he had not done a public appearance since his cabinet meeting, which lasted three hours and 17 minutes. By the time Trump left for his golf course, the legacy media was making note that Trump had been spotted publicly, furthering the rumors.

Donald Trump hasn’t been seen publicly in 3 days. The White House press pool didn’t see him once today. He has no public events scheduled for Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Where is Donald Trump???

“They also knew I went out to visit some people at the club that I own, pretty nearby on the Potomac River. I’ve been very active actually over the weekend. I didn’t hear that one, that’s pretty serious stuff. You know, it just so, it’s so fake! The media has so little credibility,” Trump said.

“I knew they were saying like ‘is he okay? How’s he feeling? What’s wrong?’ I said, I just left and it’s also sort of a longer weekend. You know it’s Labor Day weekend, so I would say a lot of people know. I was very active this Labor Day. I had heard that, but I didn’t hear to that extent,” the president added.
