Trump (Hilariously) Calls Obama a Traitor

I never thought I would get a chuckle out of one president accusing another of committing treason, but we live in Donald Trump’s America, and he managed to do it. 

Watch, and I think you will chuckle too.

Of course, the really big news is that Trump uttered the word “Treason,” implicitly suggesting that the former president should go to the gallows, but I couldn’t get past HOW Trump made the statement. 

It was perfect Trump. 

 Well, based on what I read and I read pretty much what you read, uh, it would be President Obama. He started it and Biden was there with him and Comey was there and Clapper. The whole group was there. Brennan, they were all there though, in a room right here. This was the room. This is much more beautiful than it was then, but that’s okay.

I have nice pictures up. They came out of the vaults. They were in there for a hundred years. This is much more beautiful. We have the Declaration of Independence now in the room, which wasn’t here. I guess people didn’t feel too good about putting it here, but I do. But you know what, uh, if you look at that, those papers, they have ’em stone cold, and it was President Obama.

It wasn’t, uh, lots of people all over the place. It was them too. But the leader of the gang was President Obama. Barack Hussein Obama. Have you heard of him? And, uh, except for the fact that he gets shielded by the press for his entire life. That’s the one they look, he’s guilty. It’s not a question, you know, I like to say, uh, let’s give it time.

It’s there. He’s guilty. They, this was treason. This was every word you can think of. They tried to steal the election. Yeah, they tried to obfuscate the election. They did things that nobody’s ever even imagined. Even in other countries. You’ve seen some pretty rough countries. This man has seen some pretty rough countries, but you’ve never seen anything like that.

Who else but Trump would go into a discourse about the new decorations in the Oval Office while talking about how one of his predecessors belonged behind bars, or worse?

“I have nice pictures up.” Oh, and Barack Obama should be sent to the gallows. 

I don’t quite know why this tickles me so much, but it does. 

Of course, Trump is right about Obama, who is clearly guilty of a conspiracy to deny Trump the presidency, or at least to make it impossible for him to govern. What I sincerely doubt is that you could call this treason, precisely. In fact, I am pretty sure that Obama himself could not be prosecuted for what he did here, or even whether it would be anything other than a disaster for the country. 

Especially since you could never convict him–certainly not in Washington, D.C. The jury would more likely want to throw a parade for him. The D.C. jury pool would make Sam Harris look sane:

Brennan? Sure. I would love to see him die in a jail cell. Comey? Tar and feathers, then jail for life. Hillary Clinton, the Perkins Coie crowd? Lock ’em up and throw away the key if you can. They are all evil who spread the most damaging hoax in American history. 

But Obama? I just don’t see how you can get him for this. He knew what they were doing, but like a mob boss, he was one step away from doing any illegal acts. I think. 

Still, I like Trump’s priorities. Sure, he cares about Obama’s treasonous acts, but he seems almost as offended by what he sees as Obama’s poor taste in art, which is a bit more subdued than Trump’s.
