Trump Hosts Kicks Off Inauguration with Star-Studded Celebration [WATCH]

President-elect Donald Trump began his inauguration weekend in grand style with a star-studded celebration at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, on Saturday.

Joined by his wife, Melania Trump, and other family members, Trump hosted a lavish reception that featured a spectacular fireworks display shortly before 10 p.m.

As fireworks lit up the night sky, Trump took to his Truth Social account to voice criticism of New York Attorney General Letitia James and a judge involved in her case against him.

“What is going on with this totally corrupt New York Judge,” Trump wrote. “He was replaced until the ‘bosses,’ who have been after me for years, found out about it? New York Courts must be investigated!”

Later that evening, Trump posted a nearly 15-minute video on the platform.

The video showed the president-elect and Melania standing on a balcony at the golf club, applauding as the fireworks lit up the night.

Afterward, Trump delighted the crowd by performing one of his signature dance moves.

The event, attended by 500 guests, included appearances by several prominent figures, including cabinet nominees Pete Hegseth and Lee Zeldin.

Trump’s children, Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany, were also present for the occasion.

Adding to the evening’s entertainment, an Elvis impersonator performed for the crowd, according to Trump aide Margo Martin, who shared details of the event on social media.

Earlier in the day, Trump and his family traveled from West Palm Beach, Florida, to Washington, D.C., aboard an Air Force plane.

The weekend’s festivities mark the beginning of Trump’s official transition to the presidency, culminating in his inauguration as the 47th president of the United States.

Following Saturday night’s celebration, Trump is scheduled to lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery on Sunday.

He will later host a “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” at the Capital One Arena in downtown Washington.

The inauguration ceremony will take place on Monday at noon local time in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda.

For the first time in four decades, the ceremony is being moved indoors due to extreme cold weather conditions.

With the festivities underway, Trump’s inauguration weekend promises to capture the attention of the nation as he prepares to assume the presidency.
