Former President Donald Trump entertained a receptive audience this week in Washington, D.C., with an impersonation of SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, drawing laughs with his rendition of a discussion on rocket development.

Speaking at the annual Moms for Liberty conference on Thursday, Trump shared his interactions with Musk, whom he characterized as a “super genius guy” and lauded for his recent “tremendous endorsement.”

Trump delved into what he perceives as Musk’s unique thought process, comically mimicking the tech mogul’s speech about technical advancements in space travel. “With Elon, it’s like, ‘well, you know, I’m doing a new stainless steel hub that can get us around the engines much quicker,’” Trump said, imitating Musk. “’Because there’s a problem with the type of engine going into space nowadays.’”
