President Donald Trump is preparing to pardon several pro-life activists convicted under the Biden-Harris administration’s Department of Justice.
The announcement coincides with the 52nd annual March for Life rally in Washington, D.C., where Trump is set to deliver a pre-recorded message to tens of thousands of pro-life supporters.
The move follows Trump’s sweeping executive action earlier this week, which granted pardons to approximately 1,500 individuals convicted in connection with the January 6 Capitol breach.

Pro-life advocates have expressed hope that Trump’s actions signal further efforts to address what they consider the unjust treatment of individuals prosecuted under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.

According to sources speaking with The Daily Wire, Trump’s pardons for pro-life activists are expected in the coming days.
The list includes several individuals who received multi-year sentences for their involvement in protests at abortion clinics. Those anticipated to receive pardons include:
- Lauren Handy – 57 months
- John Hinshaw – 21 months
- Jonathan Darnell – 34 months
- Herb Geraghty – 27 months
- Jean Marshall – 24 months
- Joan Bell – 27 months
- Paulette Harlow – 24 months
- Bevelyn Williams – 41 months
- Heather Idoni – 24 months
- Calvin Zastro – 6 months
Trump’s allies argue these individuals were targeted unfairly for their peaceful protests while other groups, including violent left-wing activists, have faced minimal repercussions.
During his 2024 presidential campaign, Trump pledged to review and pardon individuals he described as “political prisoners” persecuted by the Biden-Harris administration.

In September 2023, Trump criticized the conviction of five pro-life activists in Washington, D.C., promising to review their cases quickly if elected.
Trump stated, “I will rapidly review the cases of every political prisoner who’s been unjustly persecuted by the Biden-Harris administration… so that I can study the situation very quickly and sign their pardons or commutations on Day 1.”

Among those seeking clemency are grandparents, pastors, a Holocaust survivor, and a Catholic priest, many of whom were sentenced to prison for participating in non-violent demonstrations.
On his first day back in office, Trump issued sweeping pardons to individuals convicted for their involvement in the Capitol breach, including members of groups like the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers.
In an interview with Sean Hannity, Trump defended the pardons, describing January 6 as “very minor incidents” and criticizing the prosecutions as politically motivated.
Additionally, Trump granted a full pardon to Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the Silk Road darknet market, who had been serving a life sentence since 2015.
As Trump prepares to address the March for Life, his actions have reaffirmed his commitment to the pro-life movement.
Advocates continue to describe him as the most pro-life president in U.S. history, citing his policies and decisions to protect unborn life and support pro-life causes.
Trump’s decision to pardon these activists has been seen as another step in his ongoing efforts to challenge the Biden-Harris administration’s policies and demonstrate his dedication to the sanctity of life.
