Blake Neff, a producer for The Charlie Kirk Show, said escalating resistance to federal immigration enforcement represents what he described as the most significant test facing the Trump administration, warning that efforts to obstruct Immigration and Customs Enforcement could effectively nullify federal immigration law if left unchecked.

In comments addressing recent confrontations involving ICE, Neff focused on actions and rhetoric from progressive prosecutors and state officials, singling out Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner for what he described as explicit threats against federal officers.

“Larry Krasner, notorious, Soros backed prosecutor in Philly, notoriously, loves to not prosecute all manner of crimes, but he’s finally found a crime he’s very agitated about, and it’s, of course, anything involving ICE trying to enforce federal law,” Neff said.

Neff referenced a press conference held by Krasner and quoted remarks the prosecutor later reposted online.

“And he said yesterday, had a press conference, and he said this is a quote that he just reposted online to make sure everyone took him as directly as possible,” Neff said.

“Quote, we will arrest you, we will handcuff you, we will close those cuffs. We will put you in a cell. We will set your bail, and I’m going to ask for it to be appropriately high.”

Neff contrasted those remarks with Krasner’s broader criminal justice record.

“This is a man who, otherwise, was a big fan of no bail,” Neff said.

“And he actually continued on in the article where he says, we’re going to sentence you, and Trump won’t be able to pardon you.”

According to Neff, the intent behind such statements is to intimidate federal immigration officers.

“They really want to terrorize these ICE officers,” he said.

Neff argued that the ongoing conflict between ICE and officials in Minnesota represents a pivotal moment for the administration, surpassing foreign policy challenges.

“But we have to be very clear here, this is this is becoming it’s not the definitive test for this administration,” Neff said.

“It’s not Iran, it’s not Venezuela. It’s really not anything abroad.”

He continued, “In our opinion, the definitive test for this administration right now is what is going on in Minnesota, because they’re willing to keep upping the stakes on this.”

Neff described what he said is a calculated strategy by officials and activists opposing immigration enforcement.

“They’re betting if we engage in flagrantly illegal behavior, if we have, if we have people block up ICE, get in the way of ICE, get in the face of ICE, make it so ICE has no choice but to use force to actually carry a federal law that the administration will back down,” he said.

According to Neff, the broader objective is to make immigration law unenforceable.

“And that their Gamble is, if we will fully break the law, we can make it so federal immigration law no longer exists,” Neff said.

“And if they can do it once in Minneapolis, they can do it anywhere they want, and it’s basically open borders again.”

Neff also referenced what he described as the lasting impact of immigration policy under the Biden-Harris administration.

“This gamble that President Biden totally ignored us immigration law and did open borders let in 10 plus million people, 15 million people into this country, the Biden wave,” Neff said.

He warned against accepting arguments that enforcing immigration law is too disruptive.

“None of this would be disruptive if they weren’t rioting, if they weren’t getting in the way of ICE,” Neff said.

“If they didn’t have their das and their chiefs of police and their mayors and their governors and their AGS collaborating in this systematic effort to subvert federal law.”

Neff concluded by pointing to remarks from President Donald Trump regarding possible federal action if resistance continues.

“And that is why it’s very important,” Neff said. “President Trump said, if they do not back down on this, he’s going to have to invoke the Insurrection Act, which has not been invoked since the Los Angeles riots 1992 1992 30 plus years ago, and that is the stakes we’re at.”

He ended with a stark framing of the moment.

“What will win? Left wing temper tantrums or the law?”
