Former President Joe Biden’s recent prostate cancer diagnosis has prompted an outpouring of public responses, including messages from political allies and opponents alike, as reported by The Independent Journal Review.
The announcement, made Sunday, confirmed that Biden is facing “a more aggressive form” of the disease, according to ABC News.
In a message shared Monday morning, Biden acknowledged the support he has received from the public. “Cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places,” Biden wrote. “Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.”

Former President Barack Obama also addressed the diagnosis, highlighting Biden’s long-standing involvement in cancer research initiatives. “Michelle and I are thinking of the entire Biden family,” he wrote.
