Trump Pledges Clarity on Mysterious Drones: ‘They Know’ [WATCH]

President-elect Donald Trump announced Thursday that he plans to release a detailed report on the increasing sightings of drones over his Bedminster, New Jersey golf course and other sensitive areas shortly after taking office.

Trump made the remarks during a Republican governors’ event at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

“They’re over Bedminster a lot,” Trump said, referencing the growing concern among New Jersey residents and lawmakers over the unmanned aircraft.

He pledged to address the issue swiftly, saying, “I’m going to give you a report on drones about one day into the administration, because I think it’s ridiculous that they’re not telling you about what’s going on with the drones.”

Trump, 78, also noted that several governors at the meeting reported similar drone activity in their states, with many left frustrated by the lack of answers from federal agencies.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin highlighted his state’s experiences with drones over critical security infrastructure.

“We are home to the largest naval base in the world in Quantico,” Youngkin said.

“And we also have a lot of the [Navy SEAL] teams and have a huge national security infrastructure. And now for two years running, we have had drone incursions over secure airspace. And we still don’t know why. And I think that’s absolutely unacceptable.”

Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry recounted an alarming incident in his state involving drones near nuclear facilities.

“While we were dealing with a terrorist attack in New Orleans, we had drones being flown over our nuclear reactors in Louisiana,” Landry said.

“We brought that attention to the [Federal Aviation Administration], and we’ve been asking the FAA to give states the ability to mitigate these drones.”

Landry expressed frustration over bureaucratic delays, stating, “It is sitting on some bureaucrat’s desk, and that’s real.”

According to the FBI, approximately 5,000 reports of drone sightings have been submitted by the public, with around 100 considered credible.

However, federal officials have maintained that the drones pose no immediate threat to national security or the public.

Despite these assurances, there has been little clarity about the origins or purposes of the drones involved in the most concerning incidents.

“They don’t want to talk about it, and nobody knows why,” Trump said, criticizing the Biden administration’s response to the issue.

Trump stated that he intends to take decisive action after his inauguration on January 20. “I hope it’s not an enemy, but we’re going to find out on the 21st,” he said, indicating his commitment to uncovering the truth about the drone incursions.

“You have to give me a little time for the inauguration, but shortly thereafter, we’ll give you a report on it. We’ll tell you exactly what it is they know, and it’s very strange that they aren’t talking about it,” Trump added.
