Trump Reveals Why He Ran Again in Fiery CPAC Speech [WATCH]

President Donald Trump delivered a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Saturday, where he revealed one of the primary reasons behind his decision to run for president again in 2024.

Addressing a crowd of supporters, Trump stated that he could not sit by and watch the country’s decline under the current administration, particularly concerning illegal immigration.

“I couldn’t stand it,” Trump said, explaining that the influx of illegal immigrants, including what he described as some of the most dangerous individuals, left him no choice but to return to the campaign trail for a third run at the presidency.

Trump highlighted the issue of illegal immigration as a major factor in his decision, saying that the situation under Joe Biden’s administration had spiraled out of control.

“Over the past few weeks, we’ve begun the largest deportation operation in American history, larger even than that of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, a very moderate man, but he was very strong on that,” Trump stated.

He criticized the current state of border security, pointing out that under the Biden-Harris administration, individuals from foreign jails and mental institutions had been released into the U.S.

“Watching these people come in from jails and mental institutions and the worst criminals in the street, gang members being dropped off in buses and bused into our country,” Trump said.

Trump made it clear that his administration had taken steps to reverse these policies and ensure that those who entered illegally were deported.

“And now we don’t have that problem,” he said. “Now we don’t have that problem anymore.”

Referring to illegal immigrants as “fraudsters, liars, cheaters, globalists, and Deep State bureaucrats,” Trump stated that his administration had been working to send them back to their home countries, continuing his long-standing commitment to “drain the swamp.”

During his speech, Trump also took aim at Joe Biden, delivering sharp criticism of his leadership and performance in office.

“Everything he touched turned to sh*t,” Trump said, drawing loud applause and cheers from the CPAC audience. “And then he fell asleep.”

Trump continued to mock Biden’s public image, joking about how the media once tried to present him as a physically fit leader.

“They thought he looked good in a bathing suit,” Trump quipped, sparking laughter from the crowd.

He also took a shot at Biden for previously claiming to be a better golfer than Trump.

The president has long touted his own golf skills, and he dismissed Biden’s claim outright.

Throughout his speech, Trump maintained a strong stance on border security and national security policies, vowing to continue his efforts to remove illegal immigrants and strengthen immigration laws.

His comments at CPAC showcased his commitment to tackling what he sees as the failures of the Biden-Harris administration and reaffirming his America First policies.
