In a move certain to rattle the left, President Donald Trump has launched a first-of-its-kind initiative to combat the growing hostility toward Christians in America.
On Thursday, he signed an executive order titled Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias, establishing a task force aimed at dismantling discrimination against Christians within the federal government, as reported by The Western Journal.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has been tapped to lead the effort, ensuring that religious freedom is upheld in every corner of government. Speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast, Trump made his stance clear:
“While I’m in the White House, we will protect Christians in our schools and our military and our government, workplaces, hospitals, and in our public squares.”

The president emphasized that his administration will not sit idly by while government agencies trample on the rights of Christians.
“We will bring our country back together as one nation under God with liberty and justice for all.”
Trump outlined the specific mission of the new task force, saying it will “immediately halt all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination within the federal government, including at the DOJ — which was absolutely terrible — the IRS, the FBI, and other agencies.”

As part of the initiative, he is also reinstating the White House Faith Office, which existed during his first term but was dismantled under Biden. This move signals a return to prioritizing religious freedom at the highest levels of government.
Trump did not hold back in his criticism of the Biden administration’s treatment of Christians, calling out the Justice Department’s heavy-handed prosecution of pro-life activists while ignoring widespread attacks on churches and pregnancy centers.
“Under Biden, religious freedom was under attack — but not on President Trump’s watch. Grateful that he is safeguarding religious liberty by appointing AG Pam Bondi to lead a task force against anti-Christian bias in the federal government,” Republican Rep. Brian Babin of Texas posted on X.

Trump’s executive order directly rebukes the Biden administration’s record on religious liberty, stating that “the previous Administration engaged in an egregious pattern of targeting peaceful Christians while ignoring violent, anti-Christian offenses.”
The order highlights how Biden’s Justice Department aggressively prosecuted nearly two dozen pro-life Christians simply for praying and demonstrating outside abortion clinics, securing multi-year prison sentences for some.
Meanwhile, over 100 attacks on Catholic churches, pro-life centers, and religious charities were largely ignored.
The order also takes aim at Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services, which attempted to push Christian foster-care providers out of the system for not conforming to radical gender ideology.
And in a particularly blatant slap in the face to Christians, Biden declared Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, as “Transgender Day of Visibility.”
Trump made it clear that those days are over.
“My Administration will not tolerate anti-Christian weaponization of government or unlawful conduct targeting Christians. My Administration will ensure that any unlawful and improper conduct, policies, or practices that target Christians are identified, terminated, and rectified.”
The task force is required to deliver a full report to Trump within 120 days and has two years to complete its work. If history is any indication, this effort will be yet another major battle in the ongoing fight to restore Christian values in America.
