Tyler Robinson Killed Charlie Kirk

I don’t spend a tremendous amount of time on social media or listening to people’s podcasts, but I have noticed over the past few weeks that there are now people who seem pretty convinced that the “official story” about what happened to Charlie Kirk is some kind of artificial narrative designed to conceal a much darker truth. The darker truth, according to people like Candace Owens, is that Kirk was assassinated by some combination of US government and foreign entities for reasons that aren’t entirely clear but which may have to do with his feelings about something related to foreign policy toward a particular nation.

I’m being absurdly vague because the people spreading this trash are also being vague a lot of the time. The goal here isn’t facts so much as it is presenting a sort of conspiratorial tone where you don’t say the thing you’re clearly implying as a way to hype up just how ground-breaking and earth shaking these revelations are that you are spilling. 

And then you look at the camera and say ‘I think we all know’ because, yes indeed, everyone listening is in on the secret meaning. You’ve convinced them they came to it on their own even though you did all the work leading them to this nonsense.

Anyway, I came across a couple of clips today and was pretty shocked by how far this whole thing has gone. Owens is accusing Charlie Kirk’s friend at TPUSA (and an unknown number of other people in the US government and foreign governments) of approving Kirk’s murder in advance. It was all a plot, you see.

She goes on to say that it happened because Charlie, “found something out and it cost him his life.” What exactly did he find out? “Deep down I think we know what it is,” she said.

BREAKING: Candace Owens is now claiming that Charlie Kirk’s murder was “approved by Charlie’s friends” in advance — and is even accusing Kash Patel of being involved.

This is unhinged, reckless, and completely evidence-free.

That is some crazy bulls**t, right there. I’ve heard JFK assassination conspiracy theorists who made a lot more sense.

Anyway, there’s another video out today which is worth a watch. The thing Owens was describing as “checking out” in the video above was an anonymous letter she got from someone which the author of the letter claimed would reveal how Owens’ whole theory about an Egyptian plane was connected to a specific address in Delaware where every government agency under the sun has an office.

But it turns out the letter was a prank. How do we know? Because the address given in the anonymous letter is the address of Candace Owens own attorney. We know this because the address is the one where the Macrons filed their lawsuit against her. Here’s the lawsuit filing and if you scroll to the last page you’ll see the address where Candace’s lawyers were served: One Rodney Square 920 North King Street Wilmington, DE 19801.

Now here she is reading the secret letter about the same secret address tying together her entire conspiracy theory.

She checked it out. It definitely checks out.

If this were a Philip K. Dick novel, Candace would suddenly realize that she was in fact the mastermind of the assassination and had been chasing herself all along. Honestly, if she denounced herself tomorrow I’d have some grudging respect for her willingness to go all the way with this, but I suspect she won’t admit she got scammed. I guess we’ll see.

Anyway, the guy who shot Charlie Kirk is not part of a plot. His name is Tyler Robinson and he’s already in jail awaiting trial. Robinson confessed to the murder three separate times. He confessed to his father. He confessed in a discord chat to some friends and he confessed to his boyfriend. There’s also physical evidence tying him to the crime. His DNA was found on the rifle’s trigger.

This really is not a deep, dark mystery. It’s exactly what it looks like and I think we’re all going to see the case against Robinson is overwhelming once his trial actually begins. That’s not because the deep state concocted the evidence. It’s because he’s guilty and not terribly clever.
