A Ryanair flight from Tenerife, Spain to Glasgow, Scotland was forced to make an unscheduled stop after a disruptive passenger was removed from the aircraft for vaping and subsequently engaged in aggressive behavior, including headbutting windows and doors while in police custody, as reported by The New York Post.
The incident occurred on the evening of May 18 and was captured on video by 18-year-old Blair Morgan, a passenger on the flight.
The footage, which has gone viral with over 1.9 million views on TikTok, shows the woman being removed from the flight, placed into handcuffs, and continuing her outburst aboard an airport transport bus.

According to Morgan, who was returning from a vacation on the Canary Islands, the situation escalated around 10 p.m. after the woman was confronted for using an electronic smoking device in-flight—an act prohibited by airline policy.
“I didn’t know what to do; I felt intimidated and threatened by her, and so did all the other passengers,” Morgan told Jam Press.
Authorities identified signs of intoxication in the passenger and confirmed that she became “aggressive and uncooperative” when approached by officers from Portugal’s Public Security Police (PSP) after the plane diverted to Faro Airport.
The officers escorted her from the aircraft for the safety of the passengers and crew.

A spokesperson for the PSP said that after being taken off the plane, the passenger’s behavior worsened:
“While inside the airport bus, the individual began kicking and headbutting the doors and windows.”
Police stated that due to the intensity of her behavior, she was handcuffed for safety, and medical personnel were summoned to evaluate her condition.

The passenger was transported to Faro Hospital, where she was placed under observation.
Morgan said fellow travelers were relieved once the passenger was removed. “Everyone was thankful she was off the flight, as she was [causing] distress with her actions,” he said.

Ryanair later issued a statement reiterating its stance on disruptive passengers.
“Ryanair has a strict zero-tolerance policy towards passenger misconduct and will continue to take decisive action to combat unruly passenger behavior, ensuring that all passengers and crew travel in a safe and respectful environment, without unnecessary disruption,” the airline said.
