Vice President J.D. Vance said the Trump Administration’s intensifying investigation into the origins of the Russia collusion hoax could lead to numerous indictments, citing newly released intelligence documents that challenge the basis of the 2016 election interference narrative.
Speaking on Fox News with host Maria Bartiromo, Vance referenced recent disclosures from National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, who declassified a series of documents showing that senior Obama administration officials were informed Russian interference in the 2016 election was minimal and had no material effect on the outcome.
One of the unclassified documents revealed that former President Barack Obama and top intelligence officials were told about the lack of significant interference.

Despite this, senior intelligence leaders approved a report asserting the opposite, which fueled the special counsel investigation led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller.
That probe consumed much of President Donald Trump’s first term and ultimately found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.
Without naming individuals, Vance said indictments are likely.
“I absolutely want to see indictments,” Vance told Fox News.
“Of course, you’ve got to have the law follow the facts here. You don’t just indict people to indict people. You indict people because they broke the law.”

Vance noted that material made public by DNI Gabbard and FBI Director Kash Patel supports the view that laws were violated.
“If you look at what Tulsi and Kash Patel have revealed in the last couple of weeks, I don’t know how anybody can look at that and say there was an aggressive violation of the law,” he said.
Asked directly whether he believes senior Obama officials committed crimes, Vance replied, “I absolutely think they broke the law. And you’re going to see a lot of people get indicted for that.”
Gabbard, who authorized the memo confirming intelligence officials had told their superiors Russia did not affect the 2016 election, described the actions of Obama and senior aides as a “coup attempt.”
“This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic,” Gabbard told Fox News.
“What we saw occur here, as the documents we released detailed, was that we had a sitting President of the United States and his cabinet and leadership team, quite frankly, who were not happy with the fact that President Trump had won the election, that the American people had chosen Donald J. Trump to be the next President, Commander-in-Chief of the United States.”
She added, “So the effect of what President Obama and his senior national security team did was subvert the will of the American people, undermining our democratic republic, and enacting what would be essentially a years-long coup against President Trump, who was duly elected by the American people.”
On Thursday, the Justice Department announced the creation of a “strike force” to examine whether there is sufficient evidence to charge Obama in connection with the alleged scheme.
Attorney General Pam Bondi said prosecutors and intelligence officials will work to identify “the worst offenders” who engaged in “fraudulent activities, including, chiefly, health care fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, bank fraud, money laundering offenses, false statements offenses,” and other violations.
Separately, the FBI has opened its own investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey.
Sources told Fox News the inquiry focuses on whether the two made false statements to Congress about the Russia collusion allegations and whether their actions were part of a broader conspiracy.
