Vivek Ramaswamy, during an appearance on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle on Wednesday, criticized the Democratic Party for what he described as undermining the very people they claim to support.
He argued that the party, which often champions the cause of the poor and working-class Americans, is controlled by wealthy elites with political influence, pointing specifically to figures like Alex Soros.
Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur and political commentator, drew attention to a recent fundraiser hosted by Alex Soros at his Manhattan residence in support of Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz. “I have no objection to being a billionaire, speaking as someone who has lived the American dream myself,” Ramaswamy told host Laura Ingraham. “But what I do have an objection to is the kind of puppeteering that you see now in the Democratic Party.”

Ramaswamy criticized what he saw as the influence of wealthy elites over Democratic leaders. Referring to an image of Soros and Walz at the fundraiser, he said, “It looks like if you squint really closely, you can even see the puppet master pulling the strings right there.”
He went on to accuse the Democratic Party of deceiving the very people they claim to represent. “The party that will tell the poor in this country that the rich people are screwing you over are indeed the very rich people who are speaking that message to people and deceiving them,” Ramaswamy said. “What’s at stake here? It’s the status quo where effectively the people in power blow the woke smoke. They’ll give you victimhood narratives so they can preserve greater power for their own interests.”
Ramaswamy also linked this argument to broader issues, such as foreign policy and the ongoing war in Ukraine.
He echoed former President Donald Trump’s position on seeking peace in the conflict, suggesting that a global elite is more interested in prolonging the war than resolving it in America’s best interests. “Nowhere do we see this more pronounced than in our foreign policy,” Ramaswamy stated. “I think this war in Ukraine does not best serve American interests, and Donald Trump is right to want to bring peace to that conflict.”
He argued that a “global establishment” was encouraging the continuation of the war in a way that doesn’t benefit the United States.
He also drew parallels to the Democratic Party’s stance on climate change. “The climate change agenda is the same thing,” Ramaswamy said. “It doesn’t help the United States.”
Ramaswamy’s comments came as Alex Soros, the son of billionaire George Soros, has increased his political influence after taking over the leadership of his family’s empire.
Tim Walz meeting with Alex Soros is Red flag for all freedom loving Americans. This screams puppet for the globalist elites. Look at the body language. Tim Walz won’t be a servant to the American people, he’s already a servant to Soros.

Since assuming control, Alex Soros has channeled millions into Democratic campaigns and abortion rights initiatives through the Soros-backed Democracy PAC.
Campaign finance records show that the PAC has spent approximately $40 million since the transition, with a shift in focus from criminal justice reform to supporting Democratic efforts to maintain control of the White House.
The Democracy PAC, under Soros’ leadership, has become a significant player in Democratic political fundraising, a fact that Ramaswamy pointed to as evidence of the elite influence on the party’s policies.
