During a conversation with Brandon Straka, Kari Lake criticized mainstream media outlets for pushing false narratives and highlighted their financial ties to the federal government.
She argued that organizations such as Politico and The New York Times are losing credibility as the public becomes increasingly aware of their corruption.
Straka noted that the media continues to focus on divisive and irrelevant topics rather than addressing issues that matter to Americans.

“You know, they’re content to go into these, these, these press corps meetings and ask stupid questions like, Is this racist and is, you know, is the President a bigot?” Straka said.
“And nobody cares about this anymore. I think that the real questions of the real answers are taking place on these apps, and these are the kind of things that people want to talk about.”
Lake agreed, pointing out that alternative media platforms have made it easier to counter false narratives.
“Yeah, and you can debunk their false narrative so quickly, thanks to some of the apps that we have in the podcast. I mean, immediately they put out a narrative and immediately it’s debunked,” Lake said.
“They are completely losing their grip on the minds of this country. The people have woken up. They realize the press, the fake news, the corrupt corporate media, as I refer to it, has just been pushing lies.”
Lake also emphasized the importance of following the money trail to uncover corruption within major news outlets, revealing that federal agencies such as USAID have funneled tens of millions of dollars into media organizations.
“I find fascinating, Brandon, is now we’re getting to the receipts. We’re looking at USAID and all of the money that’s being funneled into these news outlets, Politico, you know, getting tens of millions of dollars from the federal government, The New York Times, Reuters, many, many others, and they’re afraid,” she said. “They’re scared to death, because when we start peeling this onion, every single layer is showing more corruption.”
She encouraged people to pay attention to those who are panicking the most, suggesting that their reactions may indicate deeper financial entanglements.
“My advice to the people, and I don’t think I need to tell the people listening, because I think they’re pretty in tune to what’s happening, is watch the people who are panicking and freaking out the most, and I’ll bet you there is a breadcrumb trail that leads right back to them,” Lake said.
“But it’s actually a trail of money that leads back to them, that you and I and the taxpayers of this great, wonderful nation have funded.”
According to Lake, the federal government is finally shifting back to the control of “We the People,” as intended by the Founding Fathers. She described the current upheaval as a reaction from entrenched bureaucrats and political elites who are desperate to maintain their grip on power.
“We are just riding the ship right now. For too long, as I said, this entrenched bureaucracy has controlled our government. That’s not how our founding fathers set it up, and now the government is being returned to We The People,” she said. “This is what our Founding Fathers fought for, this is what they died for, this is what they bled for, and now it’s being returned to We The People.”
Lake added that the signs of panic in Washington, D.C., are evidence of this shift, and she admitted to finding some amusement in watching the establishment react.
“This is a process that is playing out in Washington, D.C., and you’re watching, you’re watching just the throes of panic and angst coming from the bureaucracy and the UNI party,” she said.
“It is kind of interesting to watch, and I will admit there’s been some moments of enjoyment for me watching it as well.”

As the media faces increased scrutiny and government influence is exposed, Lake believes the American people are beginning to take back control of their institutions, signaling a shift away from corruption and back toward transparency.
