Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani is doing his best to make New York City safe. For criminals, that is. 

Mamdani, along with his pals at the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), want to “wipe out the enforcement of all misdemeanor offenses,” according to the New York Post. The DSA, of which Mamdani is the most prominent member, is hardly hiding this proposal — even if Mamdani would prefer to distance himself from past remarks on law enforcement.
