The videos that prompted the investigation were widely circulated online earlier Sunday.
One video included a caption stating, “Surely a sniper with a terminal illness cannot be a big ask out of 343 million.”
Authorities said the video was apparently posted to Morrow’s Instagram account. Comment sections on the post included remarks from other users discussing potential assassinations of White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller, as well as technology executive Larry Ellison and entrepreneur Peter Thiel.

The White House and the Department of Homeland Security did not respond to requests for comment regarding the arrest.
The case comes amid heightened security concerns following multiple assassination attempts against Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign.
In July 2024, Trump was shot in the right ear after Thomas Crooks fired multiple rounds during a campaign rally in Butler.
The shooter was later killed, and the incident prompted a sweeping federal review of campaign security procedures.
A second attempt was thwarted in September 2024 when a Secret Service agent stopped Ryan Wesley Routh, who was found armed with a rifle near Trump International Golf Course.
Federal authorities have also documented threats and violence directed at other conservative figures.
Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated on Sept. 10 while debating attendees at an event held at Utah Valley University near Provo.
In January, independent journalists Nick Sortor and Cam Higby were targeted by rioters while covering efforts to obstruct operations by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The investigation into Morrow’s alleged threats remains ongoing, and officials have said additional details will be released as facts are confirmed.
