Earlier today I wrote about another Biden-era scandal related to human trafficking.
It turns out that the hotline set up to report incidents to law enforcement simply took down the information and essentially deposited it in the circular file. The situation was so bad that 40–that is 4-0–attorneys general are begging RFK, Jr. to force the hotline to cooperate with law enforcement again.
It’s pretty hard to get Republican and Democrat attorneys general to cooperate on picking a restaurant, no less to make an appeal to Trump’s HHS Secretary, the much reviled RFK, Jr.
I have little worry that RFK, Jr. will get the hotline to do its job, whoever manages it (an NGO, of course, was in charge and was getting paid by the government to do so). I am confident because, for the first time in years, the focus in Washington is not debunking human trafficking as a conspiracy theory, but on stamping it out.
The Department of Justice will never stop fighting to protect children and we will not rest until we find and prosecute every child predator who preys on the most vulnerable.
Thank you to the @FBI for incredible work. https://t.co/N018H6mbzl

JUST NOW: I can join @AGPamBondi and @TheJusticeDept in announcing the arrest of over 200 alleged child sex predators in the last week.
For the last week, the FBI and DOJ have been quietly surging operations across 55 field offices to take down criminals who target kids.
We called this “Operation Restore Justice.”
Our agents, support teams and partners did excellent work — rescuing 115 children across the country in the process. Their work undoubtedly saved lives and protected vulnerable kids from further horrific crimes.
Operation Restore Justice is a powerful message: If you harm children in America, you will be given no sanctuary. There is nowhere you can hide.
You will be hunted down, and you will be prosecuted.
Hunting down predators and prosecuting them? What a novel idea. Under Biden the whole point seemed to be importing children from abroad and handing them over to the predators while attacking anybody who complained as Q-Anon nuts.
WHOAH! Pam Bondi and Kash Patel just announced that they have arrested over 200 child predators in the last five days.

During the whole Sound of Freedom controversy, I was nearly driven insane with anger at the Pravda Media and the Democrats, who went into overdrive to debunk the very idea that children were being trafficked for sexual or other purposes. I believed then and believe today that this politically-motivated slander of good people trying to save children from horrific abuse was evil.
And, to this day, I wonder how many of the “debunkers” were in some way associated with the traffickers, either financially or through ideological loyalty. Anybody criticizing the Biden administration for any reason was a “misinformer” or “conspiracy theorist,” regardless of how obviously right they were or how just their cause.
FBI Director Kash Patel:
“If you harm our children, you will be given no sanctuary. There is no place we will not come to hunt you down. There is no place we will not look for you. And there is no cage we will not put you in should you do harm to our children.” 🔥 pic.twitter.com/7GRCHf5ucr

Any decent person should be able to reach across nearly any ideological or party barrier in order to protect children, but we are far past the point where mere decency will motivate rabid partisans. I can almost understand turning a blind eye to unfair attacks on adults for political reasons, assuming that lives are not destroyed; I cannot and will not forgive people who allowed the abuse of children in any way simply to score political points.
This applies to alphabet ideology, immigration policy, or denying human trafficking, which was related to covering up Biden’s immigration insanity. You don’t look away when 300,000 fall through the cracks, many of whom HHS handed over to their abusers.
I’m sure it’s true, as Pam Bondi says, that the FBI has a lot of sex videos of Epstein with children or child porn.
I don’t think people care much about those.
We should, however, find out — and quickly — if Epstein worked with or for any specific intelligence agencies. https://t.co/kex0FN57kP

Pam Bondi has, quite fairly, taken a lot of heat over her overpromising and underdelivering on the Epstein Files. Her promises were made in haste, and her ridiculous “reveal” of old files was a pathetic stunt.
But I have (some) faith that the files actually ARE being combed through and that abusers will be held accountable. I suspect that a lot of the information won’t come out for a while due to law enforcement priorities. I don’t KNOW that, but if she falls down on THAT job it will be a travesty.
The focus on child sexual abuse we are seeing come out of Justice is comforting, and a big step up from the past four years. Keep the momentum going.
