The White House isn’t just securing the border—it’s also winning the meme war.
In a bold move that combined law enforcement with modern meme culture, President Trump’s White House posted a viral AI-style image of a convicted fentanyl dealer sobbing in handcuffs after being taken down by ICE, as reported by The New York Post.
The image, which surfaced on the official White House X account, captured the moment illegal alien Virginia Basora-Gonzalez was arrested in Philadelphia.

Elon Musk Called This Financial News ‘Terrifying’
She wasn’t just an illegal immigrant—she was a known fentanyl trafficker who had already been deported once under Trump’s prior term for dealing the deadly drug.

Basora-Gonzalez, a 36-year-old Dominican national, re-entered the country illegally after being booted out in 2020. She originally pled guilty to federal fentanyl trafficking charges and should have served prison time.
But thanks to the courts and a lenient system she exploited, she got deported before serving her sentence.
Earlier this month, a confidential source alerted ICE that Basora-Gonzalez was back on U.S. soil, once again living illegally in Philadelphia. ICE agents swiftly acted, arresting her and placing her back into custody—this time without the option of slipping through the cracks again.
The meme itself mirrored the wildly popular Studio Ghibli-inspired AI art trend, made famous by ChatGPT’s latest image generator.
Instead of a heartwarming anime moment, the Trump administration used the style to highlight real consequences—an illegal felon in tears as justice caught up with her.

And that’s exactly the message being sent under President Trump’s leadership: no sob story will save you from the law.
Brian McShane, acting field office director of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations in Philadelphia stated:
“The apprehension of Virginia Basora-Gonzalez demonstrates our commitment to protecting our communities from criminal aliens who engage in serious illegal activities that pose a threat to public safety. This successful joint operation exemplifies the collaborative efforts of federal law enforcement agencies to enforce our nation’s immigration laws and remove dangerous individuals from our streets.”
While leftist media outlets wring their hands about “tone” and “sensitivity,” President Trump’s team is focused on results: securing the homeland, removing criminals, and using every tool—including memes—to keep the American people informed and engaged.
This isn’t just about optics—it’s about action. Under President Trump, the days of coddling criminal aliens are over.
