A Pennsylvania woman is facing a long list of charges after allegedly posing as a nurse under at least 10 different aliases and submitting fraudulent credentials to work at healthcare facilities across the state, as reported by The New York Post.
According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, 39-year-old Shannon Nicole Womack has been charged with multiple crimes including forgery, identity theft, procurement fraud, theft by unlawful taking, unlawful use of a computer, and endangering the welfare of care.

Investigators allege that Womack used false documents to obtain jobs as a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, and even as a registered nurse supervisor. She reportedly gained employment through staffing agencies and submitted documents containing forged signatures.
In addition to impersonating medical professionals, Womack is accused of creating a fake limited liability company (LLC) as part of her efforts to appear legitimate.
The investigation intensified after Pennsylvania State Police conducted a traffic stop involving a Mercedes-Benz in western Pennsylvania in April.

Womack, who was driving the vehicle, presented officers with false identification. During the stop, authorities uncovered that Womack had connections to nearly 20 aliases and at least seven different Social Security numbers.
According to a press release from Pennsylvania State Police, Womack’s pattern of fraud dates back to 2020 and may have extended beyond Pennsylvania to other states along the East Coast.
“This case is particularly notable as it spans multiple states along the East Coast, suggesting a broader scope than initially anticipated,” a spokesperson for Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“As court proceedings unfold, we may gain further insight into the underlying motive. However, the complaint already outlines a pattern of medication theft from several healthcare facilities.”
Authorities also believe Womack may have stolen medications from the facilities where she was fraudulently employed. The investigation has revealed that high-value pharmaceuticals were likely involved.
State police are now working with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the Department of State, and multiple district attorney offices to expand the investigation.
Officials are urging healthcare providers across the state to review their employment records for potential discrepancies.
The known aliases Womack allegedly used include Shannon Nicole Parham, Shannon Nicole Abiola, Shannon Nicole Armstrong, Shannon Abiola-Parham, Shannon Nicole Grimes, Shannon Nicole Womack, Shannon Nicole Lawson, Shannon Nicole Lethco, Shannon Nicole Robinson, and Shannon Lee Lawson.
Shannon Nicole Womack allegedly gave police false identification when she was pulled over in April on Interstate 79, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
