A heated altercation between an Eagles fan and a female Packers supporter at Lincoln Financial Field has sparked an investigation by the fan’s employer.

The incident, which took place during the Eagles’ 22-10 victory over the Packers in the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs, has drawn widespread condemnation after a video of the confrontation went viral.

The Eagles fan, identified as Ryan Caldwell, is heard using offensive language directed at the female Packers supporter.

At one point in the video, Caldwell refers to the woman as an “ugly, dumb c**t,” prompting her fiancé, Alexander Basara, to step in and film the exchange.

The confrontation escalated when Caldwell turned his insults toward Basara, saying, “Are you going to do anything? Then shut the f*** up.”

Basara shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), captioning it: “What it’s like going to Philly just trying to root for your team. Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers Twitter, help me out and find this guy… this is not okay. I hate that my [fiancée] had this happen simply cheering for her team.”

Caldwell, who works as a business analyst for BCT Partners, a management consulting firm in East Brunswick, New Jersey, is now facing scrutiny from his employer.

The company, which focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), released a statement addressing the incident on Monday, condemning the behavior and confirming an internal investigation.

“The management at BCT Partners has been made aware of a video circulating involving an employee making offensive remarks outside of the workplace,” the statement read.

“BCT Partners denounces this type of behavior, and we take this matter extremely seriously. As an organization that has always stood for inclusivity, the conduct displayed was completely unacceptable and stands in direct opposition to our company values.”

The company added, “We have already begun a full investigation as an internal personnel matter to determine what actions will be taken. We sincerely apologize to everyone affected by this behavior and remain committed to fostering a culture of respect for all.”

Caldwell’s professional profile lists experience in hospitality management dating back to 2002 and notes the use of “they/them” pronouns.

The incident has garnered significant attention on social media, with NFL fans rallying around Basara and his fiancée.

Many expressed outrage over the verbal abuse and commended the couple for handling the situation with composure.

The video has been widely circulated, prompting calls for accountability.

As the investigation unfolds, BCT Partners has emphasized its commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful environment, both within the workplace and in the community.

The incident has also reignited discussions about fan behavior and sportsmanship at NFL games.

While the Eagles celebrated their playoff victory, the actions of one fan have cast a shadow over the event, highlighting the importance of addressing unacceptable behavior in sports settings.
