The last person to speak to Charlie Kirk is sharing his story.
“You sick fucking psychos that think this is the answer … It’s not, I dont know what else to say, it’s fucking not, it’s awful, and a father doesn’t have his kids anymore. Charlie had two kids. And a wife,” says 29-year-old Hunter Kozak. (RELATED: Charlie Kirk’s Alleged Assassin Revealed)
“And like not to make this about me, but I have two kids and a wife … If my one year old boy, like his one year old boy, will grow up without memories of his dad, it’s a tragedy, and it’s hard to grapple with, and I’m part of a community that’s struggling to grapple with it right now.”
Kozak and his wife are “unabashed liberals,” according to The New York Times (NYT). Kozak’s wife gave birth to their second child Sunday, the outlet reports, and the couple “said they had spent the days before Mr. Kirk’s rally practically living with their newborn daughter at the hospital neonatal intensive care unit.”
Man who asked Charlie a question before he got shot,
“The point I was trying to make it how peaceful the left was right before he got shot. And that only makes sense if we stay peaceful…”

Kozak began the video by sharing his timeline of events.
“I don’t know how to make this video. It’s been a rough 24 hours,” Kozak says.
He then plays an old video of himself countering Kirk’s claims on transgender violence.
“Now, while I was scrolling Charlie Kirk’s video, I noticed that he was touring America and he was touring universities specifically … one of these is the university I am currently going to,” Kozak says in the older video.
Kozak then refers to a transcript of his final interaction with Kirk.
“Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?” Kozak asks.
“Too many,” says Kirk.
Kozak counters and Kirk delivers his final words: “Counting or not counting gang violence?”
Kirk is then shot dead.
“I couldn’t have asked a worse question,” Kozak told the NYT.

“People have obviously pointed to the irony … The point that I was trying to make is how peaceful the left was. Right before he got shot. And that, that only makes sense if we stay peaceful,” Kozak tells his followers.
“I stand by so little of everything that he said, but one of the things that he stood by was conversation,” Kozak adds, also claiming he has been “talking to the police” and that they’re “good, thank you.” (RELATED: ‘What Are You Doing? “And if you’re salivating about what happened, don’t,” Kozak warns his viewers. “I don’t know if any of my audience is, but if you are, you’re not part of what I’m trying to build here, at all.”
“Salivating” is the right word. Thankfully, many broadcasting such evil sentiments have been summarily fired for their statements.
“As much as I disagree with Charlie Kirk … He is still a human being. Have we forgotten that? Are we crazy?” Kozak asks.
Indeed, many have forgotten.
