Voters cast their ballots in the special election Dec. 2. Republican former state Department of General Services Commissioner Matt Van Epps is up against Democratic state Rep. Aftyn Behn. In the GOP’s corner: President Donald Trump won about 60% of the district’s vote in 2024’s presidential election.
