Latest on the Penn State vacancy
Something to consider is the fact that Curt Cignetti and some of these target coaches will be in the CFB playoff…so they would miss portal, recruiting, etc… I think it has to be a non-CFP coach, i.e. Matt Rhule (former PSU LB), Matt Campbell, Eli Drinkwitz, Manny Diaz, etc. In fact, as some have pointed out…Cignetti is not only likely NOT to go to Penn State, but instead is (among others) a likely landing place for their recruits who are decommitting.
Now want to know a stat that is interesting for the leading candidate (according to most)? Matt Rhule is 2-23 against AP Top 25 teams and 0-11 against Top 10 teams…Sound familiar? That includes his stops at Temple, Baylor, and Nebraska
