The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) revived the 1990s Milk Mustache campaign to promote dairy nutrition amid debates on dietary guidelines over low-fat and full-fat dairy.
California state Sen. Scott Wiener seems to have an issue with the USDA’s ad, featuring former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines, calling Gaines a “weird grifter” and “creepy.”
“Weird grifter who’s mad she tied a trans swimmer for 6th place is now all about milk,” Wiener said about Gaines’ ad. “These creepy people keep one upping themselves.”

It’s unclear whether Wiener supports the USDA’s push to include whole milk in American children’s diets. Still, some, like Pirate Wires Editor in Chief, Mike Solana, have rightly pointed out that Wiener, who is running for U.S. Congress in Democratic Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s seat, should refrain from calling anyone creepy, due to his promotion of sexual fetishes in public. (Sign up for Mary Rooke’s weekly newsletter here!)
“[Y]ou’re running for congress and the entire country has seen you in fetish gear at folsom street fair,” Solana commented. “I don’t personally understand how a professional athlete doing a milk commercial is creepy, but more importantly people in glass houses shouldn’t throw butt plugs.”

Wiener has attended the Folsom Street Fair annually for years and proudly shares photos of himself there, often shirtless or in leather harnesses and fetish attire. The Folsom Street Fair is strictly an 18-and-over event, and for good reason. While sexual acts are officially banned at the event, nudity and BDSM displays are standard.
As a California state Senator, Wiener has authored or co-sponsored several bills touching on minors, including SB 145, which amended California’s sex offender registry to give judges discretion in cases of voluntary oral or anal sex between a minor as young as 14 and an adult within 10 years of age. Previously, if you were convicted of having oral or anal sex with a 14-year-old, it meant mandatory registration on the state’s sex offender list. But thanks to Wiener and Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a far-left judge can give you a break.
Wiener has also taken special interest in so-called transgender youth, not just in California but in the rest of the country. He put forth two pieces of legislation that are now laws, strengthening California’s already radically pro-transgender “protections.” With SB 107 and SB 497, California is now a sanctuary state for gender confused children seeking puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries, shielding them from out-of-state laws and court orders criminalizing such care. It also protects providers and prevents the enforcement of subpoenas from restrictive states. (ROOKE: Rising Star Democrat’s Soothing Voice Will Lead Lambs To Slaughter)
Wiener calls a wholesome USDA ad encouraging kids to drink whole milk “creepy” but has zero self-awareness that his entire personality in the California legislature has been to push bills that give judges leeway on sex offender registration for adults having anal and oral sex with 14-year-olds. Apparently, turning California into a sanctuary for minors seeking so-called “gender-affirming care” without parental knowledge is fine, but promoting an actual healthy lifestyle for children is beyond the pale. Physician, heal thy creepy self.
