Commentator Carl Higbie sharply criticized internal Republican infighting during a segment that included a video clip of President Donald Trump, warning that ongoing power struggles inside the party are undermining progress and risking a repeat of past political failures.

Higbie said disagreements among Republicans are not about opposing President Trump, but about resistance to what he described as Washington-driven legislation and internal maneuvering that benefits entrenched interests rather than voters.

“People like Rand Paul and Thomas. Look, I don’t agree with them on everything, but they’re not anti-Trump. They’re anti-DC trash bills that some swamp creature got in Trump’s ear and told him it was a good idea, something that was good for the swamp, but doesn’t help you,” Higbie said.

“And I, I mean, it does butt kiss for the American people.”

He said similar infighting cost Republicans the House in 2018 and is again threatening the party’s ability to deliver results.

“It’s because of the same power struggles and the infighting that lost the house in 2018 and were right on track to do that again,” Higbie said.

“This infighting is the number one thing that cost Trump major progress in his first term, and it’s doing it again.”

Higbie accused Republicans of focusing on internal disputes and personal advancement instead of governing.

“Republicans were too busy bickering inside BS and clamoring for higher titles, stabbing each other in the back, that we let Democrats run the show from the minority, and we’re doing it again,” he said.

He pointed to current disputes within the administration and federal agencies, including disagreements over immigration enforcement and leadership conflicts inside the Department of Justice.

“I do care, though, about getting all the illegals out, all of them, not just the violent ones,” Higbie said.

“You can start with them, but that’s what I was promised, all of them.”

Higbie also expressed frustration over what he said is a lack of accountability for major scandals and crimes, arguing that arrests have failed to materialize.

“And I’m just sitting there saying, Just arrest somebody,” he said.

“The bottom line is, where I sit and probably where you sit at home. No one is in jail, period.”

He listed several issues he said remain unresolved.

“Where are the arrests for the people who lied about covid, who stole billions of dollars russiagate. Where’s the Supreme Court leaker? We never found that guy,” Higbie said.

“People who traffic children on Epstein Island? Where are the trials for congressional insider trading, the j6 committee, anything.”

Higbie contrasted the lack of action now with the swift prosecutions of Republicans after Joe Biden took office.

“25 days after Biden took office, they were throwing Republicans right in jail, many held without trial, some in solitary confinement,” he said.

“Then you had Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro, go to jail for the very thing that the Clintons and so many others are currently doing right now.”

He said the problem lies with unelected officials and party leaders who prioritize maintaining power over fulfilling promises to voters.

“The goal for unelected bureaucrats and people in DC that write the bills and the donors that write the checks and Republican members of Congress even is to survive and to rock the boat the least,” Higbie said.

Higbie urged Republicans to refocus on President Trump’s original vision, playing a clip from Trump’s inaugural address.

“From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land from this day forward, it’s going to be only America first,” Trump said.

“I will fight for you with every breath in my body, and I will never, ever let you down.”

Higbie said that message reflects why he supported Trump.

“Yes, that is what I voted for all three times,” Higbie said.
