Rapper Cardi B was involved in a brief on-camera incident Saturday night while attending a Super Bowl-related event in San Francisco, according to video footage and media reporting.
Cardi B appeared as a guest at TikTok’s Super Bowl party in San Francisco on Saturday.
During the event, she walked into a street area where a robot was present and told the assembled audience that she planned to give the robot a lap dance.

Video from the scene shows Cardi B approaching the robot and touching its shoulder while circling it. She is then seen touching the robot’s leg before turning her back toward the robot and grinding against it.
After blowing a kiss to the crowd, she turns back toward the robot and crouches in front of it.

As the interaction continued, Cardi B appeared to pull the robot toward her. At that point, she lost her balance and fell backward onto the ground.
Members of the crowd could be heard reacting as she fell. The robot then tipped over and fell on top of her.
Reporting on the incident stated that Cardi B appeared to escape the fall without injury and was able to get back up shortly afterward.
After the video circulated publicly, Cardi B responded angrily to the outlet that published the footage, threatening legal action over the release of the clip.

The incident renewed attention to Cardi B’s prior public criticism of President Donald Trump and his policies. During a social media post last year following the Super Bowl, the rapper said her uncle had been deported from the United States as part of Trump’s immigration enforcement efforts.
In the same post, Cardi B complained about heightened security measures at the Super Bowl, which she attributed to President Trump’s attendance at the event. She said the increased security caused damage to her shoes and expressed frustration with stadium access restrictions.
In that post, Cardi B said:
“Yo, I was too fking mad today because, you know, Donald Trump and sh*t.
He was at the Super Bowl today, and they was giving us a hard time. Oh my gosh.
The Secret Service was not playing at that motherfuer. The Secret Service was not playing to get in that motherf***in’ stadium. Oh my god.”

President Trump attended the Super Bowl under heightened security, which is standard for a sitting president. Federal authorities routinely increase security measures when senior government officials are present at large public events.
TikTok’s Super Bowl party was one of several high-profile events held in San Francisco during championship weekend, drawing entertainers, athletes, and public figures from across the country.
The outlet that published the video has not indicated whether any formal legal action has been filed in connection with the incident.
