Anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement demonstrations continued in Los Angeles this year as activists again gathered outside a federal facility in downtown Los Angeles, where a confrontation occurred involving a federal vehicle leaving a government garage.

The incident took place Friday near the Roybal Federal Building, a location that has repeatedly been the site of protests tied to immigration enforcement operations.

Witnesses reported that a group of protesters gathered outside the building and positioned themselves near a vehicle exit where federal officers were leaving the parking structure.

According to accounts of the incident, protesters attempted to block an SUV as it was exiting the garage.

Several individuals in the group moved toward the vehicle as it approached the exit.

Video recorded at the scene shows individuals in the crowd throwing objects toward the SUV.

At one point, what appears to be liquid splashes against the vehicle.

As the vehicle attempted to leave the garage area, one protester moved directly in front of the SUV.

The individual stood in the vehicle’s path as it continued to move forward.

Footage of the encounter shows the woman stepping backward while facing the approaching vehicle.

As the SUV continued forward, she appeared to struggle to keep distance while remaining in front of it.

As the vehicle continued moving, the protester made contact with the front of the SUV and appeared to grab onto the hood while the vehicle was still in motion.

The woman remained on the front of the vehicle for a short period while the SUV continued forward at a slow pace.

After several moments, the protester was no longer able to maintain her grip and slid off the hood of the vehicle, falling to the side of the roadway.

Video of the incident shows the vehicle continuing to leave the area after the protester fell away from the hood.

There were no immediate reports that the woman suffered serious injuries during the incident.

The confrontation drew widespread reaction on social media after footage of the encounter circulated online.

Several users on X commented on the incident and the protester’s actions.

“My mother taught me not to play in the street,” one user wrote.

“I understand hood ornaments are making a comeback,” another user posted.

A third commenter added, “Hope the SUV is ok.”
