Tim Burchett Pushes for Consequences After Justin Pearson’s Explosive Clash With Tennessee State Trooper [WATCH]

Tennessee’s far-left agitator Justin Pearson is making headlines again, and it is not because of any actual legislative accomplishment.

The Memphis Democrat, best known for his theatrics and radical behavior in the Tennessee Capitol, erupted during a redistricting session, delivering a profanity-laced attack against a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper who was just doing his job, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Video footage shows Pearson jumping into the confrontation after Speaker Cameron Sexton ordered the House gallery cleared due to disruptions from protesters.

Among those removed was Pearson’s own brother, Keshaun, who joined the outbursts.

Instead of keeping composure, Pearson stormed up to the officer, shouting and using vulgar language that would make a sailor blush.

“MOVE THE F*** BACK! BOY!! What the f*** is wrong with you? You stupid motherf***er!” Pearson screamed as he shoved the trooper’s arm away.

The footage, now making rounds online, highlights yet another example of Pearson’s inability to act like a professional elected official.

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) wasted no time responding. Posting directly on X, Burchett said that the outburst and intimidation of a state trooper cannot be ignored, calling for legal consequences for the unhinged Democrat.

Burchett’s comments hit on a critical point. Tennessee law makes it clear that verbally threatening or intimidating a law enforcement officer can fall under criminal harassment or assault.

Interfering with an officer performing official duties is another serious offense. For those keeping track, that is two possible crimes in one tantrum.

This is not Pearson’s first time showing complete disregard for law, order, or decorum. Conservatives remember well his stint as one of the “Tennessee Three,” the trio of Democrats who turned the House floor into a protest stage in 2023.

Their antics then triggered an unprecedented expulsion vote after they disrupted proceedings in a chaotic push for gun control.

Pearson’s behavior since being reinstated seems only to have worsened. Whether shouting into megaphones, scolding colleagues, or lunging at Republicans during heated debates, he has built a reputation not as a legislator, but as a full-time activist in a suit.

His latest meltdown during the redistricting session adds more fuel to that fire.

Rep. Burchett’s call for jail time echoed what many Tennesseans are feeling: frustration with a political double standard. If a conservative had behaved this way, the headlines would already be filled with calls for resignation and criminal charges.

Yet liberal activists and their allies in the press are mostly silent when one of their own crosses clearly defined legal lines.

The redistricting debate itself, while heated, is no justification for violence or intimidation. Pearson’s attempt to turn the state Capitol into his personal protest stage undermines the democratic process that he claims to defend.

His constituents deserve serious representation, not viral outbursts calculated for social media applause.

Pearson’s latest meltdown is a reminder that some politicians on the far left would rather throw a tantrum than serve Tennesseans with dignity and responsibility.
