Aging rocker Bruce Springsteen wants Democrats to intensify their obstruction and hostility toward President Donald Trump.

The radical leftist is calling on the party to make the final two years of Trump’s term the most miserable years of his life.

Springsteen is also standing behind the political harangues that have become a constant feature of his stage appearances.

He has made those attacks especially prominent during his latest tour, which he named the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour.

Gold. Upgraded. Buy real gold from $1. Store it in America. Sell it with one click.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, the “Born in the USA” singer defended the political direction of his performances.

Springsteen insisted that “this was the show I wanted to make, the story I wanted to tell.”

The 77-year-old rocker acknowledged that some people have been “vehement about the content of the show.”

However, he dismissed that reaction by adding, “that’s okay with me right now.”

Springsteen also joked that he is “old now” and feels free to do whatever he wants.

That attitude has apparently carried over to both his musical choices and the political messages delivered from the stage.

“I always made the records I wanted to make and then went out and found the audience for them,” he added.

Springsteen is now following that same approach with a tour built around his political complaints.

According to Rolling Stone, Springsteen had not been planning another tour until radical, anti-American activists Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis.

He subsequently released an anti-American protest song.

“I’m out there to perform that music and to provide its message,” Springsteen told the magazine.

“Minneapolis occurred, so I wrote ‘Streets of Minneapolis,’ and that fired the whole project, really, into being.”

Springsteen then decided that releasing the song was not enough.

Therefore, he launched the tour and used its appearances as opportunities to rail against the United States from the stage in city after city.

At the opening of the tour, Springsteen delivered another attack on the Trump administration.

He told the audience that “the America that I’ve written about for 50 years, that’s been a beacon of hope and liberty around the world, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless, and treasonous administration.”

Those repeated tirades have brought Springsteen a significant amount of criticism.

Fellow rocker Jonathan Cain recently slammed “The Boss” and said the singer should “shut up” about politics.

Cain contrasted Springsteen’s attacks with his own appreciation for the country.

“We’re blessed to live where we live,” Cain insisted.

“And I’m obviously a conservative. I used to be a Democrat back in the old days, but I just couldn’t go there anymore.”

Springsteen, meanwhile, argues that his attacks represent genuine patriotism because he “believes in critical patriotism.”

He presented that defense during a July interview with PBS NewsHour.

The program asked Springsteen, “You said before that loving your country means telling the truth about it. How has that guided your work?” Springsteen responded, “I believe in critical patriotism.”

That claim has done nothing to soften his rhetoric toward Trump.

Springsteen has repeatedly called the president a “racist” and “treasonous” while continuing to turn his performances into political platforms.

Springsteen has also promised to keep agitating over politics as 2026 continues and the 2028 elections approach.

For the aging rocker, the tour’s music and its attacks on Trump remain inseparable parts of the story he wants to tell.
