Stamos, 62, labeled the top of the shared image “Last Pic,” and used the moment to reflect on his deep friendship with his late co-star.
In his caption, he recalled the fun they used to have: “We used to throw each other great birthday parties,” he wrote, adding, “Your 70th today would’ve been epic. I miss you and love you.”

The post also included other touching snapshots from their years together, including one photo of Stamos wrapping his arms around Saget as he sat behind a drum set.
Another throwback showed the entire “Full House” cast performing in character, with Stamos strumming his guitar while Saget, dressed in a tuxedo, sang into a microphone.
In the same image, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who were young children at the time, held tambourines, while Dave Coulier joined in singing.

The tribute quickly drew an outpouring of affection from both fans and famous friends in the comments section.
Candace Cameron Bure, who played DJ Tanner, left three red heart emojis in response to the post.
Actress Darcy Rose Byrnes offered her support with the message, “Sending you all so much love.”
Film director Brett Gursky added a simple wish: “Happy 70th Birthday Bob.”
Many fans shared their own words of remembrance, calling Saget “America’s Father,” a reference to his iconic role as Danny Tanner on the hit ABC sitcom.
Saget’s death in 2022 stunned both his loved ones and the entertainment world. He was found in his room at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida, on January 9, 2022, at age 65.
An autopsy later concluded that he died from blunt head trauma that caused multiple skull fractures, bleeding, and contusions to his brain.
At the time, Stamos expressed his heartbreak online, writing that he was “broken, gutted” and in “complete and utter shock.”
He shared on X that he would “never ever have another friend like him.”
I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.

During Saget’s memorial, Stamos spoke about the early days of their working relationship, admitting they “didn’t really get on” at first due to their different acting styles.
Over time, he said, their mutual respect deepened both professionally and personally, and they developed an enduring bond.
Stamos also remembered how Saget supported him through grief and hardship, including the deaths of his parents.
“He told dirty jokes and talked about himself as he hosted my dad’s funeral,” Stamos said at the service.
He credited Saget for being there through the highs and lows of his life, describing him as a constant presence through “divorces, deaths, despair and dark days” as well as “love, marriage, a child and bright times.”
Stamos closed his remembrance by calling Saget his “lifeline,” a description that underscored the profound impact their friendship had on his life.
Now, more than two years later, his heartfelt post has reminded fans once again of the powerful connection between the two beloved “Full House” stars.
