White House Blasts The Chicks’ Natalie Maines as ‘Despicable Nobody’ After Anti-Trump Rant

The White House has delivered a fiery response after The Chicks’ lead singer Natalie Maines posted a profanity-filled message attacking President Donald Trump on social media, as reported by Fox News.

Maines’ Instagram post accused the president of undermining democracy and included explicit language referencing how taxpayer money was being used. The singer also mocked the removal of one of her earlier posts and encouraged followers to repost her message.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, a White House spokesperson responded sharply, calling Maines:

“a despicable nobody who clearly suffers from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted her peanut-sized brain.”

Here’s What They’re Not Telling You About Your Retirement

The remark quickly spread online, adding more fuel to the ongoing political uproar surrounding Maines’ comments. Reactions to her post were divided, with some fans cheering her candor and others condemning her for being disrespectful.

Several commenters on social media referenced her history of political controversy, saying she “ruined her entire band’s life by running her mouth about her political beliefs on a stage she’s paid to display her talent on, not her political beliefs.”

Another critic wrote, “He’s not going anywhere!! He is your president!! His voters have no regrets!”

Others suggested she should “stick to your art” and accused her of ignoring the struggles of ordinary Americans.

Despite the backlash, supporters rallied behind Maines in the comments, telling her they admired her courage and consistency. One follower wrote, “OG’s know this isn’t an out of left field opinion from you. And you’re still [100%] correct.”

Another fan echoed the sentiment, saying, “You been preachin’ truths from the start! Keep preachin’!” while a third offered words of encouragement, thanking Maines for her “bravery” and resilience in speaking out despite “the heaviness and anxiety.”

Fox News Digital reported that the singer has not yet publicly commented following the White House’s statement.

This is not the first time Maines has found herself at the center of political controversy. More than two decades ago, she faced massive backlash after criticizing President George W. Bush in 2003.

During a London concert just before the Iraq War began, she famously told the audience she was “ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas.”

That remark triggered a severe backlash within the country music industry, as radio stations pulled The Chicks’ songs from rotation and fans destroyed their albums. The episode marked a major turning point in the group’s public image and career.

Yet, as this week’s events show, Maines has remained unapologetically outspoken about her political beliefs. Her latest post, and the biting White House response, demonstrate that tensions between entertainment and politics remain as volatile as ever.

Fox News Digital noted that reactions continue across social media, where both critics and supporters debate whether Maines’ comments reflect bravery or divisiveness in a time of deep national polarization.
