Doug Ellin, creator of “Entourage,” is fed up with the current state of Los Angeles, California, and is backing Spencer Pratt’s run for mayor.
Ellin referenced his own experience with the rising crime in Los Angeles, telling his followers that his home was burglarized by masked intruders and he has since had to implement a number of security features. He said he went from not having to lock his doors five years ago, to now implementing “15 cameras, two German Shepherds, three legal guns.”
“But, you say, ‘Oh, Spencer Pratt has no experience!’ … What experience did [Mayor] Karen Bass have?” Ellin said in a video shared on social media.
“We want to fix this place because we want to live here, we don’t want to be forced out.”
The famous writer and producer recalled being targeted by crime. “I know they were animals because they invaded my house. I know I don’t care what their excuses are, like a lot of you fucking care. I know invaders of homes should get 20 years,” he said.

“Everyone in my neighborhood has got the same problem: they’re fucking all putting cameras and high-end security guards because we’re all getting broken into. It’s not made up, it’s not false, and this city has collapsed in the last 5 years,” he said.
Ellin continued, “There is no fucking denying it unless you have an agenda, and I don’t know what that is.”

Ellin told fans, “I’m one of the people who made this city look great! I did it for years. I glorified it.”
Asserting that the area he once knew and loved has since dramatically changed, he said, ” I meet people all the time that moved here because of the show that I fucking created — and they hate it here now. HATE!”
Safety has been Pratt’s central focus in his run for mayor. (RELATED: Dennis Quaid Backs Spencer Pratt’s Bid For Mayor)
