A 17-year-old New Hampshire driver allegedly crashed through a perimeter fence at Portsmouth International Airport on Saturday night while fleeing police, striking a parked plane and a nearby tractor before coming to a stop, authorities said, as reported by The New York Post.
The incident happened shortly after 8 p.m. at the airport, according to the New Hampshire State Police (NHSP), which provided details about the incident Sunday.
Authorities identified the driver as Wyatt Seely, 17, of Rochester. Police said Seely was found intoxicated following the crash and was taken into custody by state troopers.
The Pilatus PC-12 has a great safety record, but unfortunately this one got taken out by a drunk kid in a Mustang while just sitting there minding its own business.

A trooper attempted to stop a black 2008 Ford Mustang on Durham Street in Portsmouth. Instead of stopping, the driver allegedly continued fleeing, according to police.
The Mustang was traveling without its lights on when it reached the airport perimeter, authorities said.
“The Mustang, which did not have its lights on at the time, then crashed through a perimeter fence of the nearby Portsmouth International Airport and traveled across an aircraft parking apron,” officials said in a release.
After entering the airport property, the vehicle continued across the aircraft parking area before striking two objects.

NHSP said the Mustang struck a Kubota tractor, then a small plane that was unoccupied and stationary. The vehicle eventually came to a stop.
Police took Seely into custody at the scene. He was subsequently transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash resulted in several charges against the teenager.
Authorities charged Seely with misdemeanor counts of driving while intoxicated (DWI), aggravated driving while intoxicated, disobeying a police officer, and conduct after an accident.
He was also charged with a violation-level offense of reckless driving.
Police have not indicated that anyone aboard the plane or operating the tractor was involved in the crash. The aircraft was described as small, unoccupied, and stationary when the Mustang struck it.
The incident also brought multiple local emergency agencies to the airport.
The Portsmouth Police and Fire Departments, the Newington Police Department, and Pease Fire and Emergency Services assisted during the response.
The airport is located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and the incident took place on the airport property after the driver allegedly breached the perimeter while attempting to evade a police stop.
The circumstances that prompted authorities to search for the vehicle remain tied to reports of crimes in other local jurisdictions.
Police did not provide additional details about those reports in the information released about the airport crash.
The Mustang’s lack of headlights was specifically noted by New Hampshire State Police in their account of the pursuit.
Seely is scheduled to appear in Portsmouth District Court for arraignment on Sept. 9, 2026.
The case remains pending, and the allegations against Seely have not been adjudicated in court.
The incident was reported as authorities continue to focus on the circumstances surrounding the police pursuit and the subsequent crash at the airport.
Fox News Digital also contacted Portsmouth International Airport seeking additional information.
For airport officials and emergency responders, the immediate response involved securing the area, dealing with the damaged property, and ensuring that no additional people were injured.
Authorities have not announced further details regarding the condition of the Mustang, the tractor or the aircraft involved in the crash.
The investigation and court proceedings are expected to determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged flight from police and the charges filed against the teenager.
