Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin announced Monday that federal officials are moving against hundreds of schools accused of failing basic training and facility standards.

“Today, what we are announcing is an emergency executive shutdown of 110 driving schools,” Duffy said.

According to Duffy, many of the targeted schools credentialed drivers who did not meet the necessary qualifications.
