Anti-Trump States Wouldn’t Fix Up Booths for the Fair – PA AMERICANs Took Matters Into Their Own Hands

Oh, doncha just KNOW I love stories like this.

So Trump’s organizing committee got the Great American Fair together on the National Mall to celebrate our 250th, and it sounded like a bang-up idea to me.

What better way to use all that grassy lovelieness than to have Americans walking all over it, checking out American stuff, and having a good time?

There’s a massive Ferris wheel, rodeo events, entertainment all day long – very ‘state fairish,’ looking if I do say so myself.

The miles of fencing have been difficult to navigate, according to what I’ve been reading. Security is a real concern, though. That’s a hard call: how much is too much for a free event in this day and age?

Sadly, too, though, one of the things that has kind of put a damper on it has been the heat building in. D.C. sucks in the summer to begin with, but holy smokes – with real temps in cracking 100° and the Real Feel moving solidly into ‘I’m melting’ territory, it’s hard to be out there on the mall. 

Although that hasn’t stopped some intrepid Americans from checking it out.

“I wish I could camp here until Donald got here.”

The Texans HAVE ARRIVED at the Great American State Fair calling it a once in a lifetime opportunity.

…but last night it looked really lovely, even with the heat on a weeknight.

Currently 8:40 on Tuesday at the Great American State Fair.

There’s lines to get into the booths with all the state and it’s very busy at the Ferris Wheel.

Something else that was totally pathetic? The ten TDS states who couldn’t overcome their derangement to send something down for their state booths. And some of these things are pretty cool.

North Carolina not being there was kind of a shocker. What the hell has happened to them?

But the greatest in-your-face was listening to Pennsylvania’s Governor Josh Shapiro whine that they’d ‘asked around’ and couldn’t find a single business in the entire state willing to pop down to Washington and represent them. 

What an absolute disgrace!

…because it didn’t take PA senators John Fetterman and Dave McCormick any time at all to rustle up Pennsylvanians ready to pack their stuff and head southeast.

His stance was childish, questionably deceptive and un-American, definitely removing him from potential presidential capacity. His stance speaks volumes. Repugnant.

Even a Christmas tree, driven down to D.C. overnight by a lovely lady who owns a tree farm.

What a pity their TDS-infected governor hadn’t the decency and integrity to shelve that selfish indulgence and do the same.

The same governor rightly getting skewered for what was, I guess, supposed to be a cheeky smack at loser no-booth-show Maura Healey of Massachusetts.

Yet did not send an official Pennsylvania state delegation or government-sponsored representation to the Great American State Fair (the main “250th fair” event tied to America’s Semiquincentennial celebrations on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.)
